Great staff and great atmosphere, but the food was very unimpressive. The burger was not only small, but the patty was thin, and completely unseasoned. There was one very small leaf of lettuce on it, that was wilted to almost black, and was tough and chewy. It had maybe a teaspoon of mayo on it, and not much flavor. I also got the Buzzy Basket. Onion strings, fried pickles and fried jalapeños. Pretty good amount of food, but all just average flavor and quality. $17 for the burger and the basket, and not at all satisfying. Not sure what the hype’s is with this place, but I won’t be back.

Hamburger was okay, but a little dry. Sweet potato fries were good, but the chili cheese baked potato was a joke. It was a small potato and had one tablespoon of chilli with a sprinkle of cheese and a dap of sour cream. It included a drink, but for $10 I really expected a little more. Asked for butter and all they had was the liquid grill oil that is butter flavored. Found some black grime on one half of the potato skin ( dirt? only one half had it ). In all it was disappointing and we won’t be back.

I was so ready to dig into this classic patty melt, I forgot to snap a photo at the beginning. Halfway through, I knew I had to document this perfect burger spot. Visited here when spending the day out at the Fort Worth nature center and will definitely be back.

first time here, cute place friendly staff, delicious burger and fries. The chorizo fries has some kick to it but good flavor. Was a bit cold to eat inside so sat in the van and enjoyed every bite! Definitely come back.

This is a great little gem. The burgers are always awesome and the fries seem homemade and are always hot. The people there are always kind and I can’t say enough regarding how this place caught me off guard the first time I visited. If you’re looking for a burger place in Azle, this is the place.

There is always room for improvement therefore four stars. The cashier was very knowledgeable of the menu price was a little high for me but typical and atmosphere was interesting and enjoyable and the banana pudding actually had bananas and wafers in it and we got the whipped cream at no extra charge and just had an overall nice experience

What a delicious tasty place. The burgers and fries were delicious and the ranch for dipping is a must try. Thanks for the great service and yummy lunch. The special was the Lou Garrison burger which is what I got and it’s described as a mouthwatering double meat burger with American cheese homemade pickles topped with crispy fried onion, strings and creamy homemade smokehouse mayo. Served with fresh cup fries and a drink. Highly agree!

Great food. Polite people. Great atmosphere. Poor customer service. We were extra polite, but the girl by the cashier was just super “I don’t care, whatever” attitude, mostly the red shirt, which is apparent based on her face; the two girls are always on their phones. I’m not here to insult, I’m here to state the truth and not sugarcoat it. The only good-hearted person was in the back, cooking for us wearing the black shirt. Nevertheless, thank you guys. We are grateful.

Great down home burgers! Hand pressed it appears. Had the Red’s Cheeseburger combo. Specialty Sauce and onion strings really made the burger taste special, but didn’t overpower the meat and cheese. Burger was well-done, so a bit over cooked for my taste, next time I’ll be sure yo ask for it to be cooked medium. Wife’s Twisted Oak Burger with garlic aoli, carmarlized onions, and provolone cheese was even better. I’ll be getting that next visit. Fries were homemade and good, if hotter they would have been excellent. Will be back to try other menu items soon for sure!
