What a great restaurant for a meal for 2 or a family catch up. The team catered for our group of 9 today. From the ease of booking and helpful pre-ordering process to everyone getting what they ordered. We had a lovely meal and had time to catch up and swap early Christmas presents. The food was served hot and looked and tasted lovely. The team were great fun and very attentive and cooed with a lively 5 and 3 year old really well. Whilst no parking on site there is a very large car park just across the road.

What has happened to Picolinos Stockton Heath??? Went for a friends birthday last night & the meal was so poor. Calamari used to be amazing, dusted!!! It’s now just loaded with batter/breadcrumbs. We sent 2 starters back as there was so much salt on the food we couldn’t eat it. They were replaced and handed over with a slice of lemon that had already been squeezed . Then come the mains….. pasta dishes not too bad but have had better. One of the mains Seafood Kebab with Tuna, scallops, prawns, courgette basil & chilli. due to the appearance of the prawns/scallops my partner wouldn’t eat them….. the plate was covered in tomatoes. Why?? It doesn’t mention them on the menu & that’s why my partner ordered the dish due to her reaction to tomatoes, so only the tuna was eaten. Apparently there was courgette on the plate but they were invisible to the eye!!!! Informed staff we refused to pay for one starter & the main. On reflection we should have refused to pay for more. The wine is extortionate £56 for Whispering Angel ….. £20 more than the pub up the road. … This place used to be really good……. I’ve been going since it opened so really disappointing!!!!!! See the meal with no tomatoes below!!! This was meant to be a special occasion.

From start to finish, the experience at Piccolino Stockton Heath was outstanding. The restaurant has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome and encourages you to settle in and enjoy the evening. It has a great balance between being vibrant and comfortable, making it ideal for both special occasions and casual dining.
The food was excellent, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care using quality ingredients. Every course was great, and everything arrived at a perfect pace without ever feeling rushed.
A huge shout-out goes to Vlad, who truly elevated the whole experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, always on hand without being intrusive. His service was spot on, and he made sure we felt relaxed and well looked after throughout the meal. The restaurant staff are great overall, and the level of service really sets Piccolino apart.
Brilliant food, a fantastic atmosphere, and exceptional service make this a place we’ll happily return to. If you’re visiting Piccolino Stockton Heath, you’re in very safe hands, especially if Vlad is looking after you. Will definitely be back.

The food tasted great, the portions were just right, and everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The environment was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere made the whole meal relaxing and enjoyable. I also want to thank Maddie – she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout. Always an absolute pleasure to come here, the best treat for the whole family. Tonight we brought a family friend and they had an amazing time too, commenting on the amazing food and service. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely polite server Oli, he made sure everyone was happy, very attentive and professional. We will be back.

Lovely food however despite informing staff that my husband had a nut allergy (and them recommending nut free items) they served him an almond biscuit with his coffee. Once pointed out to the staff, he quickly removed it from his plate and apologised. Thankfully he only reacted with hives but it could have been worse

Had a lovely meal this evening with my wife and children. Hadn’t been here before, but was worth the trip. Food hot and tasty. Prices reasonable..I had the weekend 2 course menu. The Calamari was the nicest I have tasted in some time. The lobster spaghetti was lovely as never tried it before.
