This small restaurant consistently delivers exceptional meals where the quality fully justifies the price. I’ve never ordered a dish that wasn’t a five-star experience. Every plate is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully executed, and clearly made with care. The staff is attentive without being intrusive and genuinely focused on making sure your experience is the best it can be. Honestly, this place outshines much of the Providence food scene and easily surpasses the tourist-driven restaurants near the beaches. A true standout and absolutely worth returning to.

Great restaurant! Overall its usually fantastic, this last time it felt like the waitress was brief and rushing. However, it did not take away from the experience too much and I will absolutely come back! Pictured is Buffalo Croquet and their poutine dish, I cannot remember the name of the drink

The whole wait staff was very attentive and professional. Our waitress Lily was very knowledgeable of the menu and had a very impressive memory for the specials. We felt very taken care of. Our plates and silverware were cleared before each course and we never came close to running low on water. Aside from the cozy atmosphere and professional environment, the food was incredible. The Tavern style poutine was fantastic as well as our ribs, french onion soup, and haddock. Dessert was an amazing cinnamon bun apple pie bread pudding. Definitely need a reservation as it is a smaller place with more limited seating but is obvious why it is always full.

Top notch! From the incredibly attentive staff to the absolutely deliciously prepared food, it was an amazing dining experience. We had Clams Casino for an appetizer, My wife had the baked stuffed lobster and I had the Portuguese steak. We’ve dined in many fine restaurants across Rhode Island and Massachusetts and We both agreed that this was the best dining experience we’ve ever had. It’s a small place so reservations are highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Always a great experience. Every staff member is exceptional, but you’d have to be to work there. Food is always on point and consistent.
Reservations are a must

Really good little place, got lucky with bar seats at peak hour. Food is very, very good and the portions are generous for the price. Martinis are reasonably priced and very good, bartender/served was one of the most pleasant people I’ve had as a server.

The food is outstanding. Owner is Sicilian and he has also sprinkled in some Portuguese flare as well. Its a wonderfully thought out menu with a ton of creativity throughout. Wine list is excellent. Service is fantastic. Chris delivers an upscale server experience.
The decor inside is very intimate and charming. Just becomes problematic because theres so few tables. But I will say, for what the size is they really make it work to their advantage. It doesn’t “feel” small.
The team as a whole really enjoys their work too. Its not a restaurant full of miserable kitchen staff and it shows in the cooking.
Honestly, big city quality in a small rural town. Truly great spot.

What else do I need to say? Service was great and very attentive (filled my water even when I did not bat an eye on the glass) The piccata left me very full. The atmosphere is good and they play actually good music from the 70s. Not some new mass produced stuff. But music is not the point right now because YOU KNOW HOW GOOD THAT CHICKEN PICCATA WAS?????????? AWESOME. I mean I will probably crave this piccata for 7 buisness days…. But very good meal. I am writing this in a restaurant because its so good. Im coming back.

Perfectly cooked meal with great portions. Plenty of land and sea choices. Swordfish Mozambique was incredible. Bartender Zack has a wonderful demeanor and extremely knowledgeable on the menu and how chef prepares the meals. Wonderful service and experience.

A real gem. Best service. Menu, portions and quality. I thought this was another pub, but there’s a great chef and experienced waiters here who do everything right.
