Reviews
• The restaurant offers a relaxed, casual dining atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal at leisure, with ample seating, no feeling of rush, and a pleasant breeze throughout.
• The food is easy on the pocket yet delicious. They serve American–Continental cuisine and are especially well known for their steaks and burgers.
• We loved the steaks and burgers overall, though a couple of items could have been better. The chilly beef, for instance, lacked the expected punch and felt quite ordinary.
• The fish sticks also have room for improvement.
• Service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff were attentive when taking orders, very polite, and took time to understand our palate before suggesting dishes.
• Recommended dishes: Sergeant Pepper Steak, Whopper Burgers, and Chicken Mushroom Soup.
We had dinner here today and the experience was absolutely exceptional. We tried a variety of dishes, and every item impressed us. The beef steaks were the highlight, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The burgers were equally delicious and very satisfying…
The ambience is warm and impressive, adding to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend The Only Place, especially for anyone who is a true beef lover. Definitely worth a visit! ️
From a food standpoint, execution is mixed. The OP’s Special Chicken, despite being positioned as a signature dish, underperforms. It is under-seasoned, lacks depth of flavor, and leans on the dry side—there’s nothing particularly “special” that differentiates it. This dish needs a serious recalibration.
On the upside, the Fiery Chicken delivers as promised, with good flavor and balance. The Caesar salad is well-prepared, fresh, and consistent with expectations. The standout, however, is the peach pie with ice cream—excellent texture, well-balanced sweetness, and a strong finish to the meal. It clearly outshines the mains.
The steaks were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and done exactly as requested. At the same time, the other dishes on the menu were equally impressive, made with great quality ingredients and generous portions. Whether you’re a steak lover or looking to explore other options, there’s truly something for everyone here.
The ambiance adds greatly to the overall experience. It has a warm, classic charm that feels comfortable and welcoming, making it an ideal place for both casual dining and special occasions. The service was attentive without being intrusive, which made the meal even more enjoyable.
Another big plus is the pricing. For the quality of food, portion sizes, and overall experience, the prices are very reasonable and offer great value for money.
Overall, I loved everything about The Only Place—the food, the ambiance, and the pricing. It’s a must-visit spot in Bengaluru for a satisfying and memorable dining experience. ️ ✨
I wouldn’t mind paying higher prices, if the food and experience is amazing.
But honestly extremely disappointed by the burgers and steaks here.
The burger bun was so bad. It was neither soft nor warm. The burgers here costed around 400-800 pp. Patty was okayish but not juicy. Honestly it felt like burger buns were bought commercially and assembled here. Had the worst mouthfeel.
Coming to steaks, hard mashed potatoes. Not at all creamy. Steak was good but again not much flavour. Expensive around 860 per plate.
Stroganoff, it was good. It needs more improvement in the sauce. Little more saucy would make the dish stay great till the end of the meal. Otherwise the sauce shrinks after few minutes. Not great presentation. Again 530 pp.
Unnecessarily hyped up place.
Food 3/5
Ambience 2/5
Service 2/5
The offered complimentary garlic bread, but was just bread and garlic butter which wasn’t roasted.
We order tenderloin stake, lamb masouka and strawberry pie.
The stake was priced at 800+ taxes, we order medium rare and it was accompanied by vegetables and mashed potatoes.
The mashed potatoes weren’t actually mashed and left a granular feeling in your mouth. The onions weren’t event roasted.
Masouka I have never tried one, but upon coming home and looking at recipe, there was only potatoes, eggplant lamb meat and cheese not even bechamel sauce.
It was oily and I couldn’t digest it till 4 in the morning.
Last finished with strawberry pie seasonal special it was charged 280 + taxes. Honestly it wasn’t worth it, they had added a lot of jam as stuffing and a few cut strawberry that felt cooked not caramelized.
Kombuyah Kombucha that they serve inside, I have had the same Kombucha in chennai for 139, here it was 200 + taxes .
Service was just average. Seating wasn’t fancy. I was hoping for great food considering the prices. I was just disappointed.
Masouka I could not finish so packed the remaining they charged a packing charge 10rs + taxes.
Maybe the place has lost its charm, @~Sai can visit again and confirm the same.
Lastly, it’s a must go for any continental food lover.

For the food, we ordered the OG’s special chicken and the spicy fried fish. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. The chicken was incredibly juicy, and the spicy fried fish was soft and tasted super fresh. Both plates came with generous portions of creamy mashed potatoes and flavorful spinach, which complemented the mains perfectly. This place proves they are masters of more than just steak. Highly recommend it!
