Stumbled across this place walking to Washington park after visiting Ghost Busters Headquarters. Great price for pizza and seems very popular. Will wait for pizza to be cooked if not cheese pizza which they pumped out for their customers. Pizza tasted great, whole family enjoyed it.

First night in. Arrived after 10pm. This place was open near my hotel. It did NOT disappoint. No frills pizza spot. Awesome prices and surprisingly not dripping of oil. Hidden gem (can I still call it that with 1000+ reviews?)
1 jalapeño, 1 pepperoni, 1 sausage slice and 2 water bottles. $9

I have tried a lot of NYC pizza over the last 22 years. This one is the best. $1.50 cheese slice. Go there. No lines.

Absolutely iconic NYC pizza joint! For just $1.50 a slice, this place seriously delivers on value, flavor, and that classic no-frills city experience.
The cheese slice is massive, fresh out the oven, with the perfect crust—crispy on the edge, soft in the middle, and generously cheesy. I added some chili flakes from the shaker (always stocked!) and it hit the spot.
They even offer 18” pies for just $12, and the menu has a surprising variety—pepperoni, Hawaiian, BBQ chicken, you name it.
Staff here are friendly and fast, working the oven like pros. Just don’t expect a dine-in vibe—there are no chairs, just standing counters, but honestly, that’s part of the charm.
It’s in-and-out, New York style.
The place is clean enough for a grab-and-go spot, and I loved pairing my slices with a cold Pepsi from the fridge.
Whether you’re on a budget, craving a quick bite, or just want to taste a slice of NYC life, this is the kind of hidden gem that locals and tourists alike appreciate.
Will 100% come back again!
Hot, cheesy, and unbeatable for the price.

Wanted a quick cheap dinner on a very hot evening in June, and went here. Quick service, very good crisp pizza, fresh and hot. A buffalo chicken slice and a pepperoni slice together for just 5.25 bucks. As good as it gets. No seating space inside. Just a counter where you can stand and eat.

This has been a guaranteed stop on my family trips for over a decade. The $1.50 does not disappoint, I love grabbing a cheese slice or two on the go. They also have other slices for slightly more but still incredibly reasonable prices. Has one of the two best budget lunch options in the city in my view! Two slices and a drink for $3.99? Fantastic. There is little room in here and it does get busy sometimes, but the service and turn around is fast so don’t be deterred!

Look, I’m not saying it’s the best pizza on Earth, but you can’t beat the price. The regular cheese slice for $1.50 was decent, and this BBQ Chicken slice for $3 is great. The quality of the BBQ Chicken slice is great for only $3.
I also felt like the BBQ sauce they use had just the slightest kick in it which I also liked. The service is also really quick and they sell whole pies too. No chairs to sit down but there is space to stand at the counter and eat.

One of the best $1.50 pizza in NYC. We always get the whole pie. The pizza texture and flavor are soooo goooooodddd. At this place cheap doesn’t mean no quality is all the contradictory its quality and flavor are amazing.
