Will definitely try em again.
Choosing this place was my second mistake.
Brisket: fat did not render. Smoke ring was thin. Rub left no bark for flavor. Overall, bland, and dry because the fat didn’t render, but good texture.
Ribs: some of the worst I have had. Ever. All of the same issues as the brisket. Dry from too much time on the smoker without being wrapped, no flavor from seasoning, but texture was right.
Sausage: good flavor (clearly not homemade but very few places make their own sausage these days so not knocking it for that) but again, overcooked and dry to the point of being a little tough.
Sauce was a little thin, and clearly vinegar based, but fairly pleasant. Certainly needed.
Peach Cobbler: by far the most disappointing. Dry, like peach filling was all absorbed into the copious amount of breading. Just awful.
I still encourage you to try the place, because every place has a bad day, but don’t have it delivered.
And start small.
The turkey is drier than the Sahara desert. They either don’t care about people who rely on delivery services for work. Or they just lack passion for smoking meats. Definitely won’t be getting their BBQ if this is the standard.
