We came here to meet some online gaming friends in person for the first time! We all had a lovely time together at this hibachi.

The staff here all went above and beyond. Our waiter, the receptionists and our hibachi chef were all so accommodating, kind, funny, and entertaining! They really completed the experience. The restaurant decor was nice, with bamboo, water tanks in the walls and a large pond with koi as soon as you walk in.

I ordered the Scallop and Fried Rice dinner. The portions were as generous as you’d expect! I had a whole second meal to bring home with me. I got a whole wallop of scallops with this dinner which were fresh and tender. The veggies were fresh, the rice flavourful and fragrant, and everything was cooked perfectly.

I can definitely recommend this hibachi restaurant whenever you’re visiting Cleveland. The people here are all fantastic!

The bathrooms are very nasty. The floors in the lobby and bathrooms are slick from being so dirty and grimy. The double door entrance waterfall leaves a disappointed feeling and so much to be desired. The stench from the water in the walk through is awful. The building needs a face-lift. The only lights that were on was the back wall that shined very bright blue and was blinding. I did a pick up order. We are now sick. I will never be back. Also they give you a very tiny amount of meat. 5times the noodles anyone wants. The rice was empty of everything that real habachi fried rice is. Nothing was in it. Just teriyaki rice. No veggies no eggs no anything. The veggies were minimal. We got a box and a half salad and no soup at all. We split the one meal. An it even had a box of rice that looked eaten out of. Gross and I think we should all make calls to the better business bureau and the health department. Hostesses were unprofessional dressed and were annoyed by my existence it seemed. For the 5 minutes I was there. Please all report and make calls they clearly need help.

The entire experience was great! Customer service was courteous and fast. Food was delicious, hot and portions were plenty big. Very filling for us. My wife picked her own sushi and I got the Seafood Tempura. The Scallops were the best!! Came with Miso Soup, a salad, rice and Tempura Dipping Sauce. Will definitely be back!!

I ordered an appetizer, sashimi, and hibachi — which should come out in that order. Instead, the hibachi (with soup and salad) was brought out immediately, before the appetizer or sashimi. The pacing made no sense and felt rushed.

The steak was cooked medium instead of the medium rare I requested. Both yum yum and ginger soy sauces were served in to-go containers during dine-in, which made the presentation feel like a takeout order being pushed to the table.

If there was a kitchen mistake or an over-prepared dish, it shouldn’t be handled this way for a dine-in guest.

What an incredible night out celebrating our granddaughter’s first semester at college. At first glance, the prices were a bit high for my liking but it was more than compensated by the abundance of food. There was enough for all of us to take some home for the next day’s lunch. The chef was extremely professional, pleasant, entertaining and kind. The food was great and the presentation was entertaining. It was a great night out and a great way to celebrate the beginning of the second semester!

I’m no stranger to hibachi, but I’d never been to this restaurant before, so we gave it a shot.
The good:
1.) The chefs are all very entertaining and do a great job interacting with patrons! The server who assisted was pleasant and helpful and even interacted with our youngest child a bit.
2.) The food was well prepared and very generous portions were provided.

The bad:
1.) The restaurant had opened, but there was trash laying everywhere in the parking lot, including several matted down pieces of trash right at the front door. The trash can at the front entrance had no garbage bag and was to the top. Not a great first impression.
2.) The front entrance was interesting and was inside with a fish display, but felt dirty and immediately once inside, the floors felt greasy (degreaser cleaner anyone?).
3.) The restrooms were as expected – not well maintained, smelly, and just generally unkept.
All of this made me wonder what the back kitchen looked like and what their health department reports look like.
4.) The food though plentiful, was overly salted and nearly unpalatable – and since we were sat with others outside of our party, it wasn’t possible to ask for this to be adjusted.

Our bill was $250 for a family, which you’d think would have meant we had a lavish day out, but unfortunately our experience fell short.

We used to go to Wasabi quite a bit when it first opened. Over time we stopped going as much and this last weekend, we decided to go back. Boy has this place changed and not in a great way. When we walked in, neither of the three employees at the host stand greeted us, they were dressed really casually, not what you’d expect of the hostess.

We sat at the bar where everything had a feeling of not being clean. The entire restaurant could use a refresh, it is looking very tired at this point. There was also a place at the bar where it appeared that someone had kicked in the wood paneling. The workers were clearly stressed as we could overhear their conversations about being understaffed. Two of the 4 sauce bowls that were out on the bar were dirty as were one of the napkins.

The drinks were very good as was the Angry Dragon roll. The Snow roll was not, it was very fishy, too fishy. The hibachi was tasty, although the chicken and the steak was overcooked. We asked for medium temp and it was definitely well done. When we left, no one said goodnight, but that wasn’t really a surprise.

At this point, we are unlikely to return. But I hope they make one changes.

My son chose Wasabi for his 15th Birthday dinner. We had only been to the Independence location. This location smelled somewhat stale and like bleach. The booth covering was not appealing and there were rips. We did not do hibachi. The food & drinks were good! The service was fine. The women’s bathroom was disgusting. One stall was out of order, another was unusable, and the only one available the lock didn’t work. I felt gross coming out of the stall. We got the bill and there was an 18% gratuity added in and we only had a table of 4. Also, a $4 card fee. Probably would not return to this location.

Loved our chef. He was amazing and made my son laugh through the process. So it was nice. Down side, charged for rice??? I said I want whatever comes with the meals and I got charged $3 per person including my toddlers.. lol uh.. why? Server never came back for refills on the drinks and the chicken was a smidge chewy this time.
I havent been here in about 4 years from having a bad experience and was in the area. Likely wont be back.
