I ordered the chimichurri steak tacos for lunch yesterday. I had to pick out avocados. They are gross for me. Not a fan of rice in it either. The chips and queso were great. Drinks are retrieved from one area in the food court, which isn’t super close. Staff is friendly. I enjoyed my lunch in spite of my personal preferences.

Visited Velvet Taco in Nashville and it lived up to the same great experience I had at their Dallas location. The vibe is fun, casual, and welcoming—perfect for grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends.
Their famous Chicken Tikka Taco is still the star for me—packed with flavor and just as delicious as I remember. I also had to get the Red Velvet Cake again and it did not disappoint… moist, rich, and such a good finish to the meal.
I tried the Korean Fried Rice Taco this time and it was okay—not bad, just didn’t stand out as much as the others. But overall, Velvet Taco continues to deliver creative flavors and consistent quality.
Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for unique and flavorful tacos with a twist!

They were hard to find because they sit in the back corner, but they were definitely worth it! I got the Mexi-Cali Shrimp Bowl and my husband got the Say-What Combo (w/1 Grilled Salmon Taco and 1 Shrimp Taco). Both were very good! Especially the cilantro rice.
We went back this month and they were just as good! We tried the frozen margarita (good), sangria swirl (good), spicy tikka, brisket nachos (great), Angus brisket taco (Everything), and the chimichurri taco (ok)! Jennifer was really helpful with my daughter’s order since it was her 1st time!

Velvet Taco on Broadway is hands-down one of the best late-night food spots in Nashville. The tacos are creative, fresh, and packed with flavor, but what truly made this visit exceptional was the service. Chris and Eric went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great experience. It’s rare to get customer service this good anymore, and they delivered what I’d call 10-star service. If you’re anywhere near downtown Nashville, do yourself a favor and stop in. Great food, great vibes, and outstanding staff.

THE BEST TACOS… EVER!!! But not just that, the service was amazing. The employees were so kind, specifically one man who welcomed us as soon as we walked in and showed us the ropes! He gave amazing recommendations and made sure we were taken care of. This restaurant is a MUST EAT!

Highly recommend the chicken waffle taco!! The chips and guac were very good as well. Atmosphere only 4 stars because of the unfortunate music choices that were played at a pretty high volume. Overall I definitely reccomend!!

My favorite tacos in TX and now they are everywhere! Never disappoints and if you have to get a combo, get the tikka and buffalo together. The staff were great, very friendly and the place was kept extremely clean and was very organized. I always defer to Velvet in any city I am in, so stop in and grab yourself a little bit of Texas in TN.

It’s a cozy restaurant with good vibes and good tacos. The gentlemen that checked is out was very helpful with taco suggestions for me and my boyfriend. We each loved both of the tacos we tried. We don’t live in the area but if we are ever back, we’d return again!
