Tortilleria Garcia is the lifelong dream of Omar Garcia. As a child, Omar lived in Michoacan, Mexico on a farm where his family grew corn. Following the harvest, the Garcia family cooked and ground the corn to make masa, the dough used to make tortillas. Omar’s grandmother Enriqueta, and his mother Dolores ,taught Omar the recipes that are used here at the Tortilleria. The Garcia family’s love of heritage and fresh food is what has inspired Omar to share this delicious tradition with you. We know you will love the fresh tortillas, meats, and all of the fresh sides as much as we do!

The food here is amazing and I love their vegetarian options. The service is quick and there are both indoor and outdoor seating options. Parking is easy with a free public lot behind or street parking in front. We have eaten here three times in two weeks and will definitely be back for more.

$1.25/taco on Taco Tuesdays! Very good street tacos, they make their own tortillas. Their spicy salsa is legit spicy. Tacos were excellent, we got steak, carnival and al pastor.

Just discovered this place and my partner and I are in love. Super yummy Al pastor. Amazing tortillas. Salsas are delicious in mild medium or hot. Bit stingy on the chips even with large orders but it’s so good I don’t care. 5 stars all the way.

I had dinner here on a weekend, it wasn’t very busy and the service was quick. The food was okay, the vegetables tasted very fresh, most of the other ingredients were okay, however the big let down was the cheese, it tastes pretty bad, and if I do find my self here again, I will not be getting the cheese, other then that, my only other complaint about the food was that it was very rice heavy. The service was good, they were friendly and quick, so no complaints there. On my rating scale, I would give it a 4.7/10 (5.0 being average), it was okay, but not really good enough to be worth the trip again

Tortilleria Garcia is where!! Their guacamole with fresh hot
chips is addictive. Tamales are delicious and filling, my wife
loves their shrimp tacos and I go beast mode for their carne
asada and pastor tacos. Looking for a deal? You can’t beat
their Taco Tuesday’s special. Their staff is very friendly and

Legit the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! The portion sizes were generous. First time having Barria tacos and now I want more! The prices were very fair also, even during all supply chain issues. Plenty of seating and the AC works great in the back dining room.

After a few good Mexican meals in the last 12 months, I am starting to look for Mexican restaurants when I go to a new place. So far I have to save the good ones are hard to find.
This one was highly rated and close to where I was. It was a pretty busy place with a line of 10 people at noon. Very quick ordering service and I took the combo plate with fish taco.
After I picked my plate and sat in the next room, a very clean area, I realized I might order the wrong stuff because it didn’t look that tasty, which was true.
The fish taco and the rest of the plate were bland, I should try something else. The exotic ice creams in the freezer could be my love.

Very solid taco place, and I’m so glad to have a spot like this in college hill. I love their corn tortillas, and the portion sizes are solid. When I get their taco platter (2 tacos, rice, and refried beans) I always have left overs (i forgot to get a pic of my food before I started eating lol). I love sitting outside when the weather permits because the patio is so cute. Sometimes I feel like the inside could be a bit cleaner but overall is a cleanly place.

The carne asada tacos were 9/10 very flavorful and a good portion, only thing I disliked was that it was dry and so were the limes. They don’t offer grilled chicken tacos, so if you order the pollo bowl ,pollo tacos or pollo enchiladas you will receive shredded chicken, we were unaware of that but we all still enjoyed our meals nonetheless. THE CHERRY ON THE CAKE WAS THE PINA-RITA. Taste great and I can tell they are not stingy on the alcohol!! Will definitely return for the Carne Asada tacos and the margarita!
