Delicious brunch. We had a pumpkin espresso martini, which was like a pumpkin spice latte with a kick, and a mango mimosa. Both were great brunch drinks! We got biscuits and gravy. The gravy was light and fluffy and not overpowering of the biscuits and eggs at all. Highly recommend!

Lovely establishment! Great place to eat and then walk to the Eastern Prom’s ocean views or downtown. We enjoyed a delicious brunch of Irish Benedict, home fries, and a pancake with real maple syrup. The portions were sizable and appropriate for the price, and kept us full until dinner. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We sat inside, but the outside area is lovely, it’s a great neighborhood with historic homes. The coffee was good, too. I appreciated the nostalgic ambiance inside, and it’s definitely a great place for a meal anytime they’re open. I plan to try their dinner menu when friends come to town.

Fun place with good drinks and food. Try the young buck cocktail. Can get crowded later but nice neighborhood crowd and friendly staff. We came here multiple times in our week in portland

My friend and I were visiting from MA to celebrate my birthday. This cute little spot was about a 5 min walk from our air BnB! We had dinner last night with Jerry, he is so personable, funny and all around amazing service. This morning we came for brunch and were just as pleased. We loved the food and everyone there was happy to be there. What a fun spot in Portland

Food was great! We loved everything, but the salmon with carrot puree was our favorite (particularly the puree). The staff were great and friendly! But was really really hot inside.

I’ve lived in Maine almost my whole life. I’ve heard of the front room but only got the chance to go a month ago for the first time. My husband and I had a night to ourselves and were looking for places that allowed reservations for a party of only two people. This place came up and we decided to go for it. I’ve been back again since because we were so impressed. Love the cozy atmosphere. The hanger steak!? Are you kidding me? I will dream about that dish. So affordable in comparison to places around it. Will go back 1000 more times.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for Valentine’s Day and while the service was lovely, everything else was terrible. Our food was burnt or greasy or both. My salad was oily! How did they even do that!? My wife’s chicken was the texture of gum you’ve been chewing for hours. I don’t normally leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I just tugged on my shirt from last night and the smell of charred meat stuck to the fabric is overwhelming 16 hours later.

Corned beef hash did not disappoint. However, the biscuits and gravy seemed light on gravy and seasoning.

Overall, it was a good experience, but I think it could have been better.

The place filled up fast. The food was yummy. I really enjoyed the biscuit. The portions are plentiful. My only gripe is I would have liked some AC. It was a cool-ish day.
