Id totally come back first time coming to snuffy’s came from north dakota to visit the city. My husband and i love it the food was cooked to perfection the staff and server was super friendly. Id totally come back again when visiting my husband enjoyed his malt as well. My malt was perfect it brought me back to when my grandma would make us kids chocolate banana malts. 10/10 id totally come back again.

Great food and malts! Waitress was funny and helpful. Waffle fries were very good and the chili cheese dog is excellent. The chili tasted homemade with beans. Strawberry Malta’s real strawberries and was very good. The pumpkin pie malt was surprisingly good too. I think they literally made it with a piece of pumpkin pie and not just pumpkin spice or flavoring.

Listen… I never write reviews, but this burger left me no choice.
I ordered the Plaza Burger, and let me tell you — it had zero flavor. Like, not even a hint of seasoning. The grilled onions and sour cream? Bland. The patty? Sad. The only thing seasoned was my disappointment.
When I told the manager, he said they don’t season their food on purpose and that there’s salt and pepper on the table so customers can “DIY.” Sir… I came here to eat, not to cook.
The kids (9 years old) loved their meals — but honestly, at that age, ketchup and fries are gourmet. The service was great, but for a malt shop, I expected a burger that slaps. Instead, I got one that naps.
Prices were a little high too, but hey — at least my meal got comped. Bless that manager’s heart.
Verdict: cute place, nice people, flavor missing in action. I left hungry. Should have went to Culver’s.

Malts are always great! Saddest $10.75 BLT I’ve ever had and it doesn’t come with fries or anything for a side. Bacon was definitely missing as it should be the star of the show. I’d recommend for malts, but will probably think twice about coming for a meal.

With a name like Snuffy’s, how do you not give it a try? Fun 50s diner style atmosphere, buy almost too big of a space to keep the vibe. Maybe if there was a bigger crowd? Ordered the signature Big Mike Burger and wasn’t disappointed. Well made, from fresh burgers with creamy 1000 island. Family order of fries was enormous. Friend ordered the chicken tenders melt on marble rye and onion rings. Rings were great and the melt was (as she said) great. Finished with a shake and a malt – spot on. Finally, the service surpassed the food. Our server was attentive, polite, and very nice. Overall, great experience.

My family of four went in around 4pm. We grabbed a seat. We wait 20-25 minutes for someone to greet us and ask what we would like to eat. We ordered two malts, and appetizer, two kids meals, and my husbands and I dinners. The onion rings came out first with my sons dinner. The onions rings were crispy, but not really warm. My daughter felt very left out because her brother got food and she didn’t. Her food and my husbands and I food didn’t come out until another 10-15 minutes. My grilled chicken sandwich was dry and unseasoned. THEN another 7 minutes later our malts finally came… The waitress after 10 minutes came back. We asked to get a sundae. She put the order in. We waited 25 MORE minutes for a SUNDAE! We then had to go up and get someone’s attention for the check and boxes. This was a not good experience. I am so disappointed. Also, a family was waiting for our table. We were grabbing some candy when we watched how they cleaned up the table. They grabbed everything off. No wipe down, nothing. So this place is germ city. The women’s bathroom was decent, but my husband refused to take my son to the bathroom stating there was feces in the men’s bathroom, all over. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to eat.

I stopped in for lunch and had a Big Mike burger and a half sized Pumkin Pie malt. First off the half size malt is what I would consider a whole size. Second Pumpkin Pie was the flavor of the month, it needs to be added as a permanent flavor. The Big Mike burger was absolutely awesome! I really enjoyed my entire lunch. I can’t wait to come back and bring friends!

An ok dining experience at Snuffy’s. Hamburgers not as good as we recall. Shakes had no flavoring. Strawberry shake had one piece of strawberry.

The space is really great with a classic diner feel throughout. We had a party of 11 (for which we were forced to pay 18% gratuity as if a party of 11 takes more work than 5 parties of two at once). I got a salad, which was definitely expensive for what it was – for the $9 price it should have included protein. I got a butterscotch malt, which was indeed very good; it is hard to find places that serve butterscotch anymore. Lastly, the onion rings were very good (and rather pricey at $8 for a family size side). All in, this is a fun place to get a malt, but I can’t say the food lived up to an $80 meal for a family of five.
