There was no ice for my soda and the soda was afwful. They have not cleaned it in forever apparently.
I ordered my usual 2 tacos my husband ordered a cheese burger. We waited 20 minutes for ice cold food in restaurant that was not crowded.
I have no idea who owns this store but there were only 2 people to do everything. That was not fair to them. I am beyond disappointed. I certainly do not want compensation for this as we will never go back.
1 star food
I remember when jack in the box had decent food for a reasonable price.
Apparently that system is dead and buried.
Today I ordered the supreme breakfast sandwich… It’s says toasted sourdough with ham, cheese and bacon… the picture shows ham, cheese and bacon overflowing out of the sides….$7.99 for the sandwich…$9.99 for the combo, which includes hash browns and a drink.
I went for the combo because I wanted some iced tea. I didn’t realize they charged extra for that… So now my total was $11.99… Instead of $9.99.
(How much is a regular iced coffee?
And doesn’t the combo include most of the cost?)
Was I disappointed?
I would say I was.
The toast was about the size of the palm of my hand… There was one small slice of processed cheese, one small incredibly overfried egg, one very thin slice of processed ham, and three of the smallest slices of bacon, i’ve ever seen in my life.
They weren’t even slices. They were pieces of slices. And it was dry, no mayo.
The hash browns were a slab of grease.
The $5.99 egg rolls did not fare much better. You cannot deep fry, french fries and egg rolls at the same temperature.
Overdone and greasy. Ick.
$2.00 each for those nasty things.
The creamy iced coffee was not very creamy..and it was way too sweet.
All in all, I really don’t have anything good to say about the food at this location. Not to mention the outside of the building was dirty and trashed.
The only redeeming quality was the guy at the window. He had a big smile and a friendly face. He was just lovely… Even when he told me the cook had only made one egg roll instead of three, and I needed to go around the side of the building and wait at the front door for the rest of my order… I could not get upset with him because he was just delightful. Unfortunately, I did not get his name to give him the credit here that he deserves for outstanding customer service.
My total order came to more than $20.
I could have had a decent meal at a good restaurant for that price and it really ticks me off that this franchise can get away with the sub par quality of food it’s providing to the public.
It’ll be a long time before I go back to Jack in the Box.
Probably never.
