Warm offshoot of a longtime Italian restaurant dishing up hearty servings of red-sauce standards.

We had family dinner here because it is a walk across the parking lot from our hotel. Restaurant looked packed from the outside but inside, it was very roomy that it was not crowded. They have a dining room with plenty of seating and a lounge and bar area with tons of booths and tables as well. It is a huge restaurant. It was a bit too dim for my liking but the food wasn’t great either.
Our server was pretty great; bubbly, friendly and super helpful, however, she did forget my soup, our drinks and a few other things. The sliced bread loaf was cold and just that, sliced bread. We got the sampler appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were decent, chicken fingers with honey mustard was the best thing we ate there and toasted raviolis were dry and bland.
Pizza was soggy but their sausage was tasty. Spaghetti was overcooked and it was in a red sauce that looked creamy and was bland. The twin petite filets were COLD, mashed potatoes barely lukewarm, gravy came out COLD and gelatinous. Only hot item from that meal was the sautéed spinach. I couldn’t eat the petite filet meal at all and had to send it back. It felt and looked like it sat out all night as it was a special and they didn’t heat it through. The manager was kind to offer me other items from their menu but I was completely done with dinner at that point.
I don’t recommend this restaurant nor will I ever return.

I quite enjoyed this place, it was a step up from Norwood “Country Club” that is located in the basement of this building. Why anyone would put a country club there is the biggest question ever, right behind whether Epstein was a mossad agent or not. I rated the atmosphere 1 star not because it was bad but because of the fact that it is so close to Norwood “CC”. If only this restaurant could attach balloons like the man from Up and fly away from the hellish dungeon that is Norwood “CC” pro shop.
On the topic of food, unlike Norwood CC’s entrees and apetizers, is actually quite good, not goyslop. But they don’t accept food stamps to my knowledge, which knocks it down a peg. I was also wondering why you would use Chateau, a French word, for an Italian restaurant.
Anywho, My point still stands, if this place ever closes and Norwood ” CC” seizes the building. I would highly consider them to rename it Norwood Country Club, Restaurant, and Resort, considering that the hotel is across the parking the lot. Which ironically, the parking lot is the best place to play golf in the whole area because there is no irrigation pipes coming out of the ground. And no random planes that fly overhead.
Thank you for the great experience.

This place was busy but fantastic! My fiance and I traveled to MA for our anniversary and stayed at the hotel across the parking lot from this place. We ate there on our first night and our last night of the trip. When we walked in we were greeted instantly and it was a very cozy and warm atmosphere. It did get a bit busy, a lot of people in there with their families and children so we knew this was a family oriented spot which wasnt a problem. We had to wait a little longer than usual for our stuff but it was definitely understandable and not an issue at all for us at least. Our drinks were amazing and the food was delicious! Their basalmic salmon we got on our last night was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, not soggy or overly tender and the veggies on the side were very good too. If you have a sweet tooth like we do, definitely try their chocolate or lemon cake, they were great! The best part was our server Mike. He was SUCH a sweetie, even when it got super busy he still came and checked on us multiple times to check on and chat with us while we waited for our food and had such a wonderful sense of humor and really made us feel taken care of. I wanted to put him in my pocket and take him back home with us to NY lol! Mike if you see this review, thank you for making our nights so enjoyable 🙂 Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area looking for amazing food and drinks, great staff and servers and a cozy family atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip <3

The atmosphere was nice but it felt like we were transformed back into the 90’s. Like literally!! With zero renovations whatsoever! No little enhancements to seat upholstery, no rug being updated etc. Especially the window seats looking outside. How can the business still be around and invest in good food/ drinks, but pay little attention to other factors inside of the restaurant itself?! While that was the least of our worries, it’s better than eating outside. I ordered the chicken parmesan with pasta. It was good casual Italian food but nothing to really rave about. While the food was far from excellent, it’s a restaurant worth trying. But don’t expect the best Italian food. I’ve been to and have eaten at so many local Italian restaurants and this one is far from the top. As a customer I’m able to share my experience and opinion, but I’m also sharing my honest thoughts. And with that, the restaurant is far from being perfect.

I had a delivery pick up and waited for 25 minutes but it still wasn’t ready. I asked the receptionist at the front desk whether the order was ready and she said it was not and that it’s going to be five minutes more and I waited for 25 minutes and she rudley told me that I cancel it. You can’t cancel an order, especially when you have already waited for it for 25 minutes. Finally, I picked up the order after over 30 minutes and receptionist rudely that I was all set and never apologized. As delivery, I never mind waiting for 10-15, but half an hour is just too much. The receptionist was rude and and arrogant and does not even know how to talk to customers. I am not saying this because of what happened to me, but as I was waiting for my order, the way she talked was not good at all. Of course, other receptionists were very polite and understanding.

I was hoping the shabbiness on the outside would pale in comparison to the service and food but I was mistaken. The food was just fine, the service was rough at the bar. The pasta was weighted down in butter and the overall atmosphere was neglectful. I imagined this place to have been an icon in earlier years, and hoped it had the same charm as the sign out front has a lot of character, but not the case. I came here for dinner on a business trip, and won’t be back anytime soon.

Lots of choices on the menu. Food is decent and the portions are very good. Not necessarily a place for special occasions but a good place if you are hungry. Very good location and ample parking

I ordered Togo twice overall; the pasta is in small portions, does not have enough sauce, and is bland.
Carrot Cake and Toasted Ravioli App, okay
