For drinks we had Serrano and the Homemade Lemonade, which was so nice.
Despite going for oysters, we also had the Caviar Potatoes — 100/10 — and my partner’s favorite for the night, the focaccia with smoked cod and anchovies. Both sides were nothing but perfect.
For the oysters we wanted to go for their Deluxe selection but unfortunately they were not available at the time we were there. That was really no problem because the Dirty Dozen was just as good as it could be.
Everything was fresh and gorgeous.
We also had to try the lobster with garlic butter, which apart from the divine taste was such a nice experience to choose a fresh live one straight out from the tank.
We were definitely more focused on eating rather than registering everything, but our experience could not have been better.
We’ve got to thank the very professional staff. Incredibly nice and welcoming people.
Whenever I go somewhere it’s usually pré-booked, the restaurant is very cozy but I would just not show up without a reservation unless it was a very quiet time.
Must have in Dublin. Thanks for such a great dinner.
Happy Christmas to all the staff, team and suppliers!
The quality of the food was high and it was clear everybody was dedicated to and knowledgeable of their craft. The staff made the time and effort to introduce the menu, including their selection of locally sourced oysters. And they were some of the freshest and best oysters I’ve had in a while. Same goes for the lobster.
The price point was very reasonable especially when considering the quality of the food and the service. Definitely would recommend
I had the pleasure of having lunch at The Seafood Café by Niall Sabongi, and it was an amazing experience! I tried the linguine with crab, some scampi, and fresh crab claws — everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The quality of the seafood was outstanding, and the service was exceptional: friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what they do.
We paired our meal with a French Chardonnay, and also enjoyed some Bloody Marys and other cocktails — all perfectly made. We’re already planning to come back on Monday for the Happy Hour with oysters and champagne. Definitely one of the best seafood spots in Dublin!
Can’t decide if the food was more amazing or the customer service. If we ever visit Dublin again, we will 100% be eating here again.
We were new to seafood and got some help with the menu. Decided on the bucqtini ai frutti di mare pasta dish and scallops. It’s really cool watching the chef prepare the food in front of you and the dining experience is very calm and enjoyable.
