Definitely something you have to experience. The food was a home run, really really good. The staff was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Place is decorated for Christmas and words can’t really do justice to how nice it looks. There are some cool restrooms down stairs for the men to check out, definitely recommend that, lol. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, and look forward to returning again soon.

Food was amazing. And pretty reasonably priced for the portion they give you. Wasn’t expecting such a big lobster tail! Biggest filet mignon I’ve ever had too. All of it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing with the melted butter they give you. Cake was good but didn’t like the flavor too much of the Pink Champagne one.

This steakhouse is gorgeous inside, the pink flowers and seatings were so beautiful. The hostess was not the most welcoming. We made reservations in advance for my party and asked if a booth was available after seeing 3-4 open, she was like nope, we have them reserved for bigger parties only while I saw multiple booths with just couple in it. She was unapologetic and unempathetic with the attitude like too bad so sad. It really was not a good start to our evening. Despite this our server Teresa was awesome from start to finish. She was knowledgeable, patient and always smiling and sweet. The food… the ribeye was juicy and thick, was more done than requested but it was still tasty, the prime rib was perfect, baked potato was on the smaller side, the grilled asparagus were perfect as well. The mash potatoes were just ok. The lemon cake was delightful and not too sweet or heavy. That was surprisingly very good. I hope the create a better process for their advance reservation guest. Overall the experience could have been much better if we had a bigger table with more elbow room after we ordered all those dishes, but our server Teresa really turned things around for us. Great location for date nights, ladies get together and family night.

This was honestly the worst dining experience I’ve had.

We were seated and ordered broccoli soup and bread to start. The broccoli soup was essentially broth with tough, undercooked stalk pieces — no actual florets. It felt rushed and low quality.

But the real issue was the bread.

I bit into it only to find an actual shard of wood.

We immediately called the waiter over. He was kind, apologetic, and handled it appropriately. I genuinely appreciate him.

The manager, however, did not.

When she came over, she was solely focused on defending the broccoli soup instead of acknowledging that there was wood in the bread. There was no apology. No urgency. No concern. When I mentioned the bread incident, her first response to us was to ask “What do you want to do moving forward?”

I had to redirect the conversation back to the fact that there was a literal foreign object in my food.

When we decided to leave (because of course we were not comfortable eating there anymore), there was still no sincere apology. I had to prompt her by saying that being apologetic in a situation like this would probably be appropriate. Only then did she offer one — and it felt like mockery.

Beyond the food safety issue, the environment felt uncomfortable. We were the only people of color in the dining room, and we received noticeable stares while raising a completely valid concern. I won’t make assumptions about intent, but the overall response and atmosphere made the experience worse.

Finding wood in bread is unacceptable. A manager failing to immediately acknowledge and apologize for it is even more concerning.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

4/5 food but rounding up for decor ambiance and service. It’s an amazing spectacle. Fun and fascinating experience worth checking out at least once. Food portions are large but also pricey and not great value for the quality. Meat was delicious as was bread. Vegetables not very nice and cake was lackluster. So famous it doesn’t need to taste great.
Free bread and pickle and cheese plate. Drinks are generous and good value. Live music on some nights is a great touch.
The main star here is the decor, ambiance and service. It’s a must see in SLO.

My fiance and I came to the restaurant on Thanksgiving. Upon arrival, I wondered if I was going to regret it. It was PACKED and chaotic. Warm and well thought out Christmas decorations took away from being overwhelmed by the mass crowd. We had an *amazing* time. Travis was our server and was so fabulous. Garrett the busser was extremely kind and attentive. For as busy as it was- the experience was top tier. Food and drinks were so tasty and came out in a timely manner. Tons of things to see and explore. I have been a server for over a decade and I have to say major hats off to FOH/BOH staff for pulling last night off so well. Lastly- everything was pretty fairly priced: cocktails, entrees, and souvenirs. Hoping to do this again in the future!

The entire takes some getting used to, but it’s very unique. Food was excellent and would strongly recommend the sausage appetizer.

This place was AMAZING!!! The atmosphere is one of a kind. Gives a western old town Hollywood feel. Our waiter, Riley, was soooo amazing. Very helpful, friendly, and very attentive. The food was on point. The drinks were tasty and strong! Kudos to the entire staff. Top tier service.

Holy moly, what an experience! We stayed at the inn and made a reservation in advance for this world-famous steakhouse, and we were beyond impressed. The atmosphere is so whimsical & beautiful. The service was fabulous, and the food was delicious. You must try one of their signature drinks and the steak & lobster with a loaded baked potato. ALSO, save room for dessert – or take one to go – because the pink champagne cake is incredible. There was live music and dancing. It was a magical evening and I can’t recommend this place enough!

If you’re looking for an incredible place to have an “experience” and you’re not food/flavor driven, this is 1000% the place to go. Everything is so cunning, and deliciously extra, the goblets on the table, the adorable relish dish to greet you and, the smiles from the staff as you walk in. It’s a fine place for a some conversation, a fun drink (or two), and a (less than) stellar meal. If you have great company don’t let the lack of luster of a meal get you down, order a dessert and take in the ambiance. Beware the blonde older bartender who was less than happy to serve patrons, I wish I would’ve caught her name because she left a very bitter taste in my mouth; she had a such a condescending disposition and attitude towards every one she served, it was almost painful to observe, and then when it was our turn to be served it was almost as though she was mocking the drinks we ordered, it was really sad, and a huge blow to the high we were on when we walked into the doors. It was as if we stepped to the right, into the beautiful galleon room, and the black cloud buzzed overhead as the bartender closed out her 5:00 o’clock shift but no one was there to catch the next one. Zooming forward, once we were set to be seated the wait staff that we had (Alex and another young lady, I didn’t get her name) was out of this world, incredible, and so kind. They made a great team, and I wish for every one that goes through their tables are as sweet and thoughtful to them, as they are to their guests. 9/10 <3 Again, food wasn't a homerun, but everything else was great !
