We each had the Shrimp and Oyster Basket and a cup of Gumbo. THE BEST oysters I have ever had. Cooked perfectly as was the shrimp and fries. Gumbo was delicious and the tarter sauce was fantastic!

I ordered the voodoo shrimp (similar to firecracker shrimp). It was really good. My daughter ordered the teriyaki salmon and said it was the best salmon she’s ever eaten. Husband ordered mussels and loved them. We also got the crab and jalapeños stuffed oysters. They were good. We would definitely go back. Our waitress was super friendly and kept the drinks full. Great service and seafood.

Called in Togo order, host was very upbeat and friendly. Food was hot and ready when I arrived. Seafood aroma filled the car on the ride home. After arriving home and devouring said meal I have to give them a 10/10!! The service and food were excellent, everything felt above and beyond. As a very picky eater and individual this does not come lightly. Honestly, this is my first positive review I’ve had for Carrolltons restaurant. Thank you Shuckers for such a well prepared and positive staff! It was much appreciated. Will be back for more.

I loved it here I sat at the bar and my server/ bar tender was the awesome and lovely Kinslei aka Hoops! This was my first time here and the service was awesome we had a good time the food was great and cooked perfectly.. my first time having oysters and im glad I did it here .. the oysters Orleans were bomb great recommendation. We arrived at about 4:30 (Thursday), and we were seated immediately. I have to agree with a previous reviewer. The seats (high metal chairs) were really uncomfortable. We are a couple at a certain age (old as dirt), and the hostess seated us at a high top table, with the high metal chairs. The high tables for 2 are so close together. Although the restaurant was almost empty (see photo), the hostess seated another couple right next to us. You can’t have a private conversation. I could have put my hand on the man next to us, knee. (Not sure he would have approved)
Our waitress was Chole (spell check). She was FANTASTIC! She smiled throughout our meal, told us of the special, explained the menu to us, and she never let our drinks be empty. Our food came out quickly. The VooDoo shrimp were delicious! My husband ordered the oyster basket. He said they were the best oysters he had ever eaten. I had the catfish basket. They were perfect, not greasy. The french fries and hushpuppies were so good.
I can not believe this place has been here so long, and my family from Carrollton had the nerve to take us to The Little Hawaiian and never mentioned Shuckers. In my opinion, the food at Shuckers is 1000x’s better than Little Hawaiian.
We will definitely be back, often!

Went to Shuckers yesterday for the first time. It was wonderful!! I had Buffalo shrimp dinner, not to spicy, shrimp cooked perfectly. Delicious!! Praise for the gumbo, shrimp and grits, and po’ boy was the same There were 7 of us and all enjoyed our food Service was great, ask for Chloe, great waitress.

Great food and service at reasonable prices. The Fried Grouper Basket was a large portion, and NOT over cooked like most places. Lots of Shrimp on the Po Boy! Excellent Service too!

The food is great the service is on point. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night expect a wait. It is worth it I have tried several things on their menu and all of it is good. The servers and host are very friendly

Cute place but outrageous pricing for basket foods. Got the pound of crab legs that had barely any meat in them and ended up leaving hungry. The staff were friendly but it was difficult to get our waitress when we needed something. Not worth coming back.
