The piece of chicken on the sandwich was pretty small unfortunately. Especially in proportion to the bun. Overall, a great place to watch the game. Plenty of TVs. Didn’t feel like we got the kindest of service from bartender but perhaps she was having a rough day. Overall it was a good experience. The Spinach artichoke was decent. Def a but pricey. Will be back. Also how are y’all gonna give packets of Mayo and have the smokehouse brewery fancy appeal of an emblazed bun? lol cmon that doesn’t jive. Also props for the happy hour special. I think it’s half off drafts

We were passing through and I am beyond ecstatic to have found this little gem. I usually don’t rave about restaurants but this place was absolutely phenomenal The barbecue was great I got brisket and ribs and they were both done perfect. The mac and cheese was awesome. My buddy got basil pesto chicken and boy that was great too. The french fries were the good french fries with crispy edges. For sure 10 out of 10 will be back. Drove 25 minutes out of my way to stop here and it was worth it.

Cozy little place with a lot of history, great variety on the menu and the homemade pizza logs are amazing!

We had a delightful waiter who took our order quickly. Our food was brought out hot and made to order exactly the way we asked for it.

Been here multiple times and it just gets worse. Called 4 days ahead to see if they could accommodate a party of 8. They said not a problem. We show up and get seated at a table for 6 at most. I guess they can’t count, bad start already. The waitress is clueless at best and only brings half the drink orders and forgets the rest until asked. The food comes out in two seperate runs 20 min apart. Half the table gets to eat well the other half watches. The other meals show up after the other half are finished. Need a refill on your beverage? Forget that, good luck. Waitress checked in with us once thats it.

We came to eat as a family not watch and wait well others get to eat and some don’t. The best part, they gave me 25% off one of our pizzas that was $16 well the check was over $200.

If you value your family and would like to get a decent dinner for your hard earned money, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, this place could care less about you or your business.

*Tonight my fiancé and I ordered the Filet Tips and the California Chicken Sandwich both of us ordered French fries for our one side.*

I called and placed this to-go order at 8:05 pm and they close at 9:00 pm. To begin: It took multiple phone calls (11 to be exact) over the course of 30 minutes for a host to answer the phone to take our order. When the host finally picked up the phone we received an attitude and could clearly hear the irritation in the hosts voice as we asked for and placed our order. I was told our order would be ready to pick up in 15-20 min. I walked in and picked up my order a few minutes before the 15 minutes I was told. Our order was ready to go when I came in, that was great. Though, it wasn’t so great when we opened up the food at home. Initially, not much looked wrong with our food. That was until we started to eat our food. (We live on Darrow Rd which is literally a 2 minute drive from the dinor and that’s if you are driving under the speed limit. Time was not a factor here.)

Our French fries were so laden with grease that they were as soft as noodles and were not warm in any respect. We could not eat them. My fiancés chicken sandwich could not be eaten with the bun as it was soggy and complete mush. The bun was falling apart to the touch. She decided that she would just eat the chicken breast with melted cheese on top. While taking a bite into her food she took a bite into a rather large piece of chicken bone that remained in her sandwich. (Advertised as a boneless chicken breast in the form of a sandwich) Unfortunately, this was not all that was wrong. The lettuce that came paired with her sandwich was brown and visibly rotten. The two pickles chosen to be placed on her sandwich were apart of the end rind of the pickle and were tiny. This was truly disgusting.

Now we can get to my meal. Stone cold as well. The filet tips were not seasoned in any way shape or form. This meal was absolutely tasteless. I received a massive heaping pile of noodles with 5-6 smaller sized pieces of steak in between. The gravy had a very mild and subtle taste so much so that the noodles themselves overpowered its taste while eating it. The “filet tips” were chewy and tasted very unappetizing.

I am appalled with the meal we received and I am very disappointed with the service I was given over the phone. I can imagine most people claim to not complain a lot and yet they will find any and everything wrong with their meal. However, I can assure you this is not one of those cases. I have eaten here close to ten times or so.
Usually I order the chicken tender appetizer with a side of french fries. Typically, the meals I receive here are pretty good. I may have the occasional cold order of fries and whatnot, but nothing that big of a deal to complain about. Especially with a take out order, I know things may cook and get done faster than the time given for pickup and this factors into the quality of the meal when I go to eat it at home. That is the one of the risks you take when ordering take out.

With all of this in mind and due to our multiple past experiences with ordering and eating food here: It is easy to determine that the small factors I mentioned above had not played a part in the quality of our meals. I have taken multiple pictures of our meals and documented the issues I mentioned in this review and we have our reciept. We spent $31 on food that we literally were not able to eat. My dog got my steak, the rest was thrown away. I should not have to pay for this and this is my honest opinion of my experience with Crossroads Dinor in Edinboro, PA.

So, actually, I would probably give them a 4.5 but giving them a 4 wouldn’t be fair, so I rounded up. We got the poutine and artichoke dip as apps. While the poutine wasn’t exactly authentic it was still good. The dip was tasty as well. I had the cod sandwich which was very good. It came with a side of wedding soup (my choice) and it was also enjoyable. I got the sandwich because I knew I wanted peanut butter pie for dessert. It was about a quarter of the pie. Just a monster sized slice of creamy peanut butter joy. Very good.

Shout out and big thank you to Jay McElhinney for his great communication and guidance as we prepared a breakfast menu to be catered to our home for a surprise 90th birthday brunch. Eggs, Bacon, Ham, Waffles were the selections for guests. Jay assisted with a prompt and efficient set up and confirmed all was in place before he left. Leading up to the event Jay was on point with communication and assurance with the order. The event was a success and a large part of that is because of Jay and the Crossroads Dinor- Edinboro- Thanks so much!

I belive the back of the restaraunt needs to be cleaned. We had a very dirty space. It had dirty silverware that looked like as if the last person left it for us. The food was OK, my pancakes weren’t cooked all the way. The middle was straight batter. The service was poor, I would try to wave down the waitresses when I needed silverware or I needed pay and they would straight up ignore me. They wouldn’t turn their head to even look. Me and my partner weren’t even disruptive and they looked at us like we had three heads. The atmosphere wasn’t great either, it felt hostile. But the Cajun eggs Benedict was very good. I believe it would be a great restaraunt if everyone was a bit more coordinated instead of focused on getting things done here and now.
