Just a traveler passing through. This is the second time I’ve been here and food is great. Corned beef was very good. But the service and the friendliness of staff has to be a 10 out of 10. Both visits were very consistent with great service, great food and great coffee.
I would also like to add that the restaurant is very clean and inviting with a spotless restroom.

The pancake house is a classic spot, bustling with locals every morning, feels like an old lodge or a cabin, lined with vintage plates from various places. I was happy to discover that they have multiple gluten free options for nearly everything on their menu! The blueberry syrup was awesome. Bacon was crispy! Definitely coming back!

Everything was great. My little brother got a Hershey kiss because he got really really hungry and he thought he couldn’t wait for his food so they gave him that little chocolate and the food is amazing. They have gluten-free pancakes. Everything is amazing. The atmosphere is like every diner you can go to so you should probably make the atmosphere a little bit more different

Very filling portions, wonderful flavor.
We had crepes, Continental and Breakfast – which was STUFFED! My son had chicken fried steak – not as substantial, but still completely filling with its egg and 3-pancakes sides
The hollandaise sauce was well made and very tasty.
I love their coffee mugs and real cream.

Always fantastic food here, and they do their best to manage the big crowds. Not too bad of a wait time, and the service was still really great even though it was slammed.
I also appreciate that they offer half sizes for a lot of their dishes, for those of us who can’t usually eat a whole serving. If you’re looking for some comfort food, this is a wonderful place to stop.

The young lady who served us was lovely. Everything else about the experience was not so lovely. As expected there was a wait to be seated but it wasn’t too long. The server was quick, kind and efficient. The hostess moved us after we’d been seated and ordered and were waiting for meals so she could accommodate a large group. She moved us to a back corner that was freezing . It was so cold the food got cold within quick minutes of arriving.
The hostess also told the people that were seated by us prior to the even larger group they needed to leave as there was a large group waiting. They took our extra chairs from our table and sat more people than fit.
The food was so so. Potatoes mushy and not very flavored and the eggs were cold and hard (not how they were ordered). Husband got corned beef hash that wasn’t very good and the whole experience aside from lovely server was loud, freezing, subpar and unpleasant. Definitely will not be returning.

The staff is genuinely friendly, I’ll give them that. Service was nice and welcoming.
Food overall was just okay—nothing special—but the potato pancakes were honestly the worst thing I’ve ever tried. Heavy, greasy, and completely flavorless. Big miss. And the coffee? Over-burnt, bitter, straight-up bad.

There are a lot of “Original” pancake houses out there. Finding ones that live up to their name, sometimes requires a hunt. We’ll save you the time if you’re in Redmond Oregon. We were out mapping clean restrooms for our directory and stopped in here to actually just have a nice breakfast. Their clean restrooms, just an added bonus! But when you walk in the doors, it just feels like a good pancake house. For us, it was the experience and quality we were hoping for. Job well done!

They used to have great gluten free pancakes (almost like the bisquick blend) but they’ve changed their product and now the pancakes have a sour aftertaste. (Kinda like the red bobs- if your gf you know)
I didn’t know if it was maybe just old product that last time I had them but we visited again yesterday and it’s still there. If you have something great, don’t change it.
