I’ll never be back. This is the third time I’ve been here. First time was amazing. Took my daughter and her friends back. Not one refill offered the whole time and was barely checked on. I chalked it up to them getting ready for a large party. Came back tonight. Instead of giving my 9yo a kids meal, he gives her alacart tacos and rice and an adult drink that she didn’t even finish. I ordered a taco salad and it was the saltiness and soupiest taco salad I ever saw. I had three bites and had to stop. My husband let me finish his street tacos. The tortillas were almost impossible to bite through they were so stale and the meat was greasey and I chewed for what felt like a whole minute before the steak went down. We aren’t ones to complain and when asked how it was and when we stated we didn’t like it nothing was taken off. I never got a single refill. No to go drinks offered. We paid for food we didn’t eat. We’ll never be back.

Their chips are usually very thin and crispy and the salsa is so so good.
Our family favorites are chicken fajitas street tacos El pastor… You really probably can’t go wrong.

We want to try Mexican dishes and this place did not disappoint us. The La Fuente Steak Burritos is highly recommended. It has creamy white sauce on top of the burritos with plenty of streak strips cooked perfectly-so soft and with the right amount of spices. You will be served with nachos with salsa dipping while waiting for your order. Service is actually very fast. Price is affordable and serving size can be shared by two people. We will definitely visit this place again to try the other dishes A suggestion to have a brighter atmosphere is to have colors incorporated inside. Mexico is known for its vibrant and colorful customs and traditions.

Tasty Mexican food, reasonable prices. Service a little tepid, but it was late afternoon before dinner and staff probably was busy getting ready for the rush. The steak and queso over rice and chicken and queso over rice (Pollo Cheese Dip) were very good. Definitely will return to try other menu items.

The food was good, and El pastor tacos were VERY tasty. A couple of large groups made it for a very loud restaurant. The espincaca was thin and not a lot of flavor. Excellent chips.

La Fuente is our family’s go-to Mexican restaurant. We usually eat in but got take out a couple nights ago and as usual it was excellent! The margaritas are #1 too! Whether we’re celebrating or just need a pick me up after a rough day, this place makes it great.

This was not a good experience. We were seated and served quickly, but one of our entrees was terrible. The waitress dropped our food off and did not check on us again to refill drinks or see if the food turned out well. She was sitting a few tables away wrapping a Christmas gift for Christmas decorations despite having a table. We had to track her down to let her know that our food wasn’t satisfactory, and she came over and took the entree with no comment and didn’t offer to bring something else or fix the problem (so one of us did not eat dinner). We had to track her down again to get the check after waiting for almost 20 more minutes, and she charged for the uneaten entree. We asked to have that one removed, and asked to talk to the manager. The manager removed the charge, then she came to the table and said “the manager just left” which seemed unlikely. There are better options in Lee’s Summit, skip this.
