The food was excellent with generous portions, and the staff were incredibly friendly—even the chef was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and has a cheerful, happy vibe. Prices are reasonable, and the waitresses were like angels—very kind and supportive. The chicken biryani was packed with meat and full of flavor. There’s plenty of parking available. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Indian food.”

Disappointing experience lately. Used to love this place, but they’ve started using food colour and the quality and taste have dropped significantly. Had the fish pakora recently and it was overly salty, almost inedible. Not worth the visit anymore, especially if you care about natural ingredients and good flavor. Hope they revisit their recipe and practices.

This is by far the best East Indian food I’ve ever tried. I’ve already tried a few other places in different towns around here, and nothing compares to Holy Spice. Delicious food, well served, and a fair price. The place is also very pleasant, and the staff are great.

Visited Holy Spice (1765 Kenaston Blvd) on 24 August 2025, and it was such a frustrating experience. We ordered Tandoori Soya Chaap, Fish Pakora, Chana Bhatura, Amritsari Kulcha Thali, and Chicken Hakka Noodles. The only good thing was the Fish Pakora — honestly very good. Everything else was disappointing.
The Tandoori Soya Chaap was greasy, strangely sweet, and covered in mayonnaise (who puts mayo on chaap?). The Chana Bhatura had oily, limp bhaturas and flavorless chana. The Amritsari Kulcha Thali didn’t feel fresh at all — the kulcha wasn’t stuffed properly and the sides tasted stale. The Chicken Hakka Noodles were just a greasy mess, nowhere close to real Indo-Chinese.
For a bill of $73.87, this was absolutely not worth it. Apart from the fish, everything felt like a waste of money. I left the restaurant frustrated and disappointed. Definitely not going back, and I would not recommend this place.

Had an amazing experience at Holy Spice Winnipeg! The food was absolutely incredible — rich flavours, authentic taste, and perfectly prepared. As a true Desi foodie, I can confidently say this place hits the mark.
The service was equally impressive. Our server, Pawan, was outstanding — warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a very concerning experience with our recent takeout order. While eating a samosa, we found a hard, stone-like object that appeared to be iron-based. This is extremely dangerous and could have caused serious harm if someone had bitten into it. It’s shocking to find something like this in food, and it raises major concerns about the kitchen’s hygiene and quality control practices. We urge the management to investigate this seriously and take immediate steps to prevent such incidents in the future. Food safety should never be compromised.

Loved it. Ordered the platter for lunch. Left completely stuffed. Delicious variety , perfect amount of spice, super fresh. And the same price as the mcD’s I almost walked to instead. Glad I didn’t. The samosas were extra, and too much food, but I can’t help but order samosas. These were some of the best.
