Consistency is so bad. I should have checked the food that I got before I left the restaurant. I ordered 2 pieces, see the picture as if I only got 1.5 pieces. That’s ripping off a customer. Not buying there anymore.

I always buy food here at Puco Calor; the food is delicious, especially the platters. But believe me, the service makes you never want to come back. They treat you like they’re giving the food away for free. They’re grumpy and bring their personal problems to work; they don’t provide proper service. The soda used to be included whenever I ordered food, whether in person or by phone, but now they charge $3 for a soda, which is quite expensive. I understand they have their policies, but they should tell you when you buy a lunch special or a platter. I don’t know if they’ve changed staff recently, but I don’t feel like going back, even though the food is good; the atmosphere is just too unpleasant.

Has been around forever. Great idea. Focus on 1 meal (chicken) with different sides choices. Mostly take out, but there are a few tables for dining in. We always get take out – generous portions. Can’t be beat for awesome chicken at great prices. Highly recommend.

Always delicious! The chicken is fresh, flavorful, and juicy. I like that they give lime with it. I always opt for the half chicken and a side of rice. I’ve also gotten the Bandeja Tipica and enjoyed it. Seating is limited inside, but they also offer take-out. There’s always someone working that speaks some English, so don’t be afraid if you can’t order in Spanish. Pointing at the menu helps too.

Very good rotisserie chicken. I ordered a Pucalor especial: 1/4 Chicken, rice, beans, salad, consomé (soup) and a soda. Plenty of food for $8.50 plus tax. The only thing I didn’t like, I ordered a side of maduros and they just put it on aluminum foil. Will come back because the food is good and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend

I ordered the quarter chicken with a side of rice and a sweet plantain. Everything tasted great. The chicken was soft and juicy. Yes, I’d recommend it, and I definitely will return if I’m in the area.
