We visit Panera Bread quite regularly, and overall, the experience really depends on the day. The service can sometimes be very slow and a bit unfriendly, though every now and then we do get lucky and have someone cheerful at the counter, which makes a big difference.
The food also varies — there are times when everything is fresh, tasty, and just right, but we’ve also had moments where we left disappointed with the preparation or the speed of service.
I won’t go into too much detail, but in general, I’d say the service is just “so-so,” and the overall organization could definitely be better.

When I visited on 1/31 around afternoon. Jeffery’s customer service was truly amazing and stood out from the moment I walked in. He made everyone feel genuinely welcomed, not in a forced or scripted way, but with real warmth and attentiveness. While waiting for my food to go, I couldn’t help but notice how smoothly everything ran around him. He was attentive to customers, patient, and consistently positive, even during busy moments.
What impressed me the most was how he interacted with his team. It was clear that he is a strong leader where people genuinely enjoy working with. The staff seemed comfortable, motivated, and happy, which says a lot about the environment he helps create. You could tell there was mutual respect, and the energy felt upbeat and supportive rather than stressful. It actually looked like a fun place to work, which isn’t something you see everywhere.
As a customer, that kind of atmosphere makes a huge difference. It made the wait feel shorter and the overall experience more enjoyable. Jeffery’s leadership and customer service skills don’t just impact customers. They clearly influence the entire team in a positive way. That’s the kind of service that keeps people coming back.

I spent a day here reading and using laptop. I enjoy the soup, sandwich and cinnamon roll. Refilled drink is great but not amazing. The vibe in this restaurant is great. A great place to stay for a while. Plenty of parking spaces in this plaza. A nice experience to visit this Panera. However, the availability of power outlets are pretty limited. One near fountain machine close to the seat. Somehow one of them close to the entrance doesn’t work during my 2 visits.

I ordered 50 dollars of food for dinner with wife. Walk in order at 8 proceeds to get named called to have me whole order bagged to go. Not sure why when it’s an hr till close. So I proceed to ask for 2 plates as I would eat my soup out of the go cup no biggie and was told I couldn’t get a plate cause ” their not giving plates out at this time”. So am I supposed to eat my food on the table !! A joke and 1hr till close. I get staff want to go home but this isn’t a fast food place. Provide the service the company supposedly offers. All this while the manager stands their talking to another staff member.
Bread bowl was barely cut had to cut the rest my self. 10 dollars for 4 oz or soup is a joke. Both sandwiches were mad terribly.
Won’t be returning to this Panera will stick to going to Clifton.

Upon walking in, immediately serviced. The young man who took the order was pleasant to deal with and smiled (which is rare nowadays). Food was spot on!!!! Ordered the half combo – French Onion soup and a ham sandwich

Young cashier with glasses (no hair net) gave my pick up order to the wrong person. Although I was running late I understand that mistakes happen. He took his time “throwing” my sandwich together and instead of apologizing for the wait he told me I shouldn’t have waited so long to pick up my order. Mind you its my birthday. He was so rude and unprofessional for no reason.

I ordered catering for 15 people to be delivered between 12:00-12:15 for lunch. The food didn’t arrive until 12:45 and they did not bother to let us know that they were running late. They also didn’t have a driver to deliver so instead they contacted a third party to complete the delivery. Good food, trash customer service.

So disappointed because I’ve ordered from here a numerous amount of times and never had an issue. This past Sunday I ordered the same sandwich I get every time and I ended up with severe food poisoning to the point of where I thought I was gonna die. Wouldn’t doubt it if it was because these kids they have working there don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom and then they’re touching people’s food. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to find a new location to go to from now on at a further distance making it less convenient for me.
Edit: I called corporate to report this case of food poisoning and they sent me an email back taking no accountability possible. I have attached the screenshot of the BS email the sent me and I have charged back the 13 dollar payment with my bank. I have a specialist’s determination that i had a severe case of food poisoning and was almost hospitalized.
