Went for the Ribeye and it was very good and cooked perfectly but not worth $30. I would suggest going on Fridays with the $19 steak special. All you can flounder was excellent. My husband was satisfied. The sides were bland except the potatoes. They were good but the others were not.

I’m from out of town and my fiancée and I went here on a date. Their food is incredible! The service was very quick, and the people were extremely friendly. The might we went there, there was live folk music playing. I’m not typically into that kind of music but it was really good. Would highly recommend!

first time we went there the sweet tea tasted like soap and the waitress said it was the water in Denton that made it taste like soap. but the ribeye was so delicious it didn’t even need any sauce and cooked perfectly. so we thought we found a place for some good ribeye but this time the sweet tea was great but the ribeye was really thick and didn’t have any flavor, the collard greens where pure vinegar and to top it off the waitress apparently misunderstood and the steak was bloody. so i guess it’s a hit or miss for us…

Food was good. Some of the vegetables were underseasoned, but still good. Bathrooms needed a little bit of work. We loved the music and atmosphere. Good value and attentive waitresses.

I tried the hamburger steak (small) at 9.25. Comes with a salad or slaw, fries or baked potato, and rolls or hush puppies. The steak was excellent and I would order a large version next time. Baked potato salted well and they give you butter and sour cream. Salad is simple yet good. The rolls were like a hoagie type roll toasted.
Waitresses were attentive and didn’t really have tables of their own it seemed. They worked everywhere.
Bathrooms could use some work on cleanliness and interestingly not many people were wearing masks, both customers and employees.
Worth a look.

Place used to be great (especially on steak night) but here recently the food has definitely gotten worse. Steak tonight was dry, bland and cooked different than we ordered. Sides were just okay. But the service was great.
