Excellent experience. The lemon basil pasta and bruschetta were delicious and prepared well. Food arrived hot and fresh – cooked to perfection. My server, Vanessa, was super friendly and helped me navigate the menu. Great atmosphere and food is on point. Highly recommended.

The food was awesome! Another runner served me the wrong meal at first, but my actual server recognized that it was the incorrect thing as soon as it was put down and she had it corrected immediately. The service was kinda slow and it took a very long time for her to give us the check and then take the card for us to pay, but to be fair the restaurant was quite busy at the time. Overall I would go again.

We ordered through Postmates but the food was great. We got the basics, cheese bread, the spaghetti with meat sauce and the fettuccine Alfredo to see if their pasta was any good. Everything was great. Best pasta in the area, actually knows how to season their food. Can’t wait to try something new next time.

Delicious! A terrific array of pasta dishes, brick oven pizza, calzones and stromboli, crisp salads and delicious desserts in a cozy environment. Good beer and cocktail selection too.
Our server was sweet and helpful, going so far as to find a shim for our table that was a little rocky.
Two big loaves of fresh garlic bread came out first that were finger-licking good. Started with an appetizer trio and thought the toasted ravioli and the horseradish sauce for the fried mushrooms were awesome. My chicken caprese on angel hair pasta was so flavorful. Loved the smoky meat and cheesy deliciousness of the Stromboli and the tender beef in the veal Parmesan.
They had some of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten! Their cannolis are awesome! The creamy filling was perfection, and it’s hard to decide if I liked the chocolate chip or pistachio better. There was also a peach cobbler cheesecake? What genius thought to mix these two delicious desserts together? Brilliant flavor combination!
Can’t wait till I’m back in town to sample more from your menu!

We walked in about 3pm and we were immediately greeted and seated. We had drinks which were great. I told the server what I was lookingnfor in a drink and she made some recommendations. The drink I ordered was called the Honey Bee which contains Oj among other things and it was sweet and juicy. I really enjoyed it.
We ordered pizzas- the pesto paradise pizza and the surf up pizza. The combination of flavors for both pizzas were very good. The crust was literal perfection and the amount of toppings were just right.
I also got the dessert trio which contains a piece of tiramisu, cheesecake, and cannolis.
The deserts in my opinion were just ok.
The service was very good. We will be back for the pizza and to try out some of their other menu items.

I’ve eaten here since they were in a small storefront in the corner of the square, tucked and hidden away and discovered a gem in 2012. Now it’s 2026, and what can I say? The location has changed since 2012, but La Trattoria’s the premier dining spot on Adamson Square for a great meal that’ll fill you up and hit the spot. A family tradition now, and if you want Italian in Carrollton, this restaurant will meet that need. 150% recommended!

Don’t bother making reservations they don’t own up to it. This is the second time I’ve made a reservation and had to leave because they were sitting people before me and my party. To respond to your reply, James I get that I didn’t “include my infant “ but an infant doesn’t take up much space much less eat your food when I call a week in advance to be seated for two most restaurants don’t bat an eye at a baby especially when your GM wants to split up a table for other people and seat them after us. We showed up 15 minutes before our reservation and ended up waiting another 30 and watched other couples get seated after us. A highchair does not take up much space at all and like I said this is not this first time I’ve made a reservation and y’all sit people before us that came after us. This is just the first time I’ve posted about it.

Wonderful staff with great food!!
The staff were so nice and accommodating to our party. They weren’t that fake chitty-chatter you get elsewhere. They just seemed genuinely nice and interested in helping.
The food, mixed drinks and draft beer…..spot on. They brought us fresh bread without us asking for more. We got salads, lasagna, ravioli, and the trio of Italy. No one complained and all loved it. That’s hard to do. We all left very happy with our experience. A true gem!!!!
Get the blueberry cocktail. It was amazing.
