It is nearly impossible finding amazing gluten free food that isn’t a salad and also establishments that genuinely cater to your allergies. I have been talking about this place for days now. I have always been a foodie and when I was diagnosed with celiac disease 5 years ago I cried. All of my favorite things I could no longer have and was afraid to go out to dinner because we all know even if it’s gluten free, eating out we take risks of cross contamination. La Trattoria absolutely exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go back! So many gluten free options available in every category! Appetizers, entrées, desserts, and even fresh gf bread! To top it off a bartender who knows what she’s doing. Everything we got to try for the quality and price you just can’t beat it. I am still dreaming of the tiramisu and strawberry cheesecake, hands down both the best I’ve ever had and I’m still dreaming of the next slice. Might even end up being my birthday cake this year. Chef’s kiss, keep up the amazing work! You are so appreciated!

We visited for our first time last night. The food was very good. The service was slow but they appeared to be short handed, as is the theme of 2022, but he did ok for having a full restaurant on a Monday night. Definitely recommend making reservations!

Me and my wife both got the Sampler that included Lasagna, Fettuccini Alfredo and Chicken Parmesan. The Chicken Parmesan had a nice crust, was seasoned well and was delicious but was about the size of a chicken nugget (It’s the sampler, I get it.) The lasagna was exceptional. The Fettuccini Alfredo had no taste. The bread that was brought out before the meal had a very good crust and a very good herb butter accompaniment. If I had it to do all over I would go with the pizza because the bite/mouth feel of the bread and the delicious look of the pies coming out of the fire oven.

This is the best gluten free Italian food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. If you are celiac I recommend going here for dinner. The staff can answer any questions and everything is fantastic. **we went back to Carrolton just to eat here** I feel very safe eating here and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful about what can and cannot be made gluten free. Love this restaurant

The food was great. Their pizza is soooo good. It’s cooked in a fired brick oven and comes out perfect. I had the eggplant and chicken parmasan, and it was delicious . I had enough to bring home to eat on later. Oh, while you’re there, get a few of the cannoli. The pistachio ones are my favorite for a small taste of dessert.

This was the WORST restaurant experience of my life. My family and I came to La Trattoria for dinner last week while on vacation in Carrollton. While the server was handing me my food, she put an extremely hot plate into my hands without any warning. This resulted in 7 of my fingers to have the first few layers of skin completely burnt off. The pain from these burns hurt immensely to the point where I could not even pick up a fork to eat my meal. I sat in the booth visibly crying from the pain in my hands, yet the server did not apologize or return to the table for the rest of the time we were at the restaurant when there was only a few other people left there. Nobody offered any help, to compensate me for my meal, or even a simple apology. This experience completely ruined my vacation, as I could not use my hands because of the painful blisters that came from this. Afterwards, my mom contacted the restaurant multiple times only to be met with denial that this situation even happened from the owner of the restaurant. This was was the worst service I have ever experienced from both the servers and the owner. DO NOT GO HERE.
