We came here for breakfast after staying nearby. It was crowded on a Sunday morning, but we were sat quickly. Service was a little slow but they were very busy and they were friendly.
The prices on the menu are pretty reasonable. I was going to order the bagel and lox for $16 but then I saw that the lobster Benedict was also $16, so I ordered that instead. I was disappointed though because the “hash browns” on the side were not the homemade kind, but a frozen deep fried cake. I was also disappointed to find that the “lobster” was actually a breaded deep fried mixture, like a crab cake. I intentionally did not order the crab cake Benedict because I don’t like that kind of thing.
My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and Swiss cheese. It was good, and pretty big, so she could barely eat half of it.
There is a nice view of the water from the restaurant.
The parking lot is pretty small.
I’d probably try a different restaurant if I’m back in the area.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for many many years and watched it rebound from hurricanes, survive epidemics, renovations to the docks etc. and even enjoyed the coconut telegraph when it was available! I love the mom and Pop atmosphere and beautiful location. The food is always served with a smile and top notch for a reasonably priced locals style restaurant. Now under new ownership by the chef who has been there for years, the place has not lost its charm or culinary appeal!

The Hideout: A Sunrise Spectacle with a Side of Scrumptiousness! Oh man, where do I even start? The Hideout is my new breakfast obsession – perched right on the water with views that make you feel like you’re in a postcard! We timed our visit for sunrise, and let me tell you, watching that golden glow rise over the waves while sipping coffee? Pure magic. It’s like Mother Nature’s own light show! The food? Absolute fire! The Philly steak omelet was stuffed to the brim with juicy steak, melty cheese, and all the fixings – fluffy perfection. Those jalapeño poppers? Crispy, spicy, and dangerously addictive. And don’t get me started on the “Full-On Sunrise” – it’s like they bottled the dawn and turned it into a flavor explosion!Shoutout to our waiter Zach, who was an absolute rockstar – friendly, efficient, and kept the vibes high. And Gabe? Your recommendations were spot-on; we devoured every suggestion! We’ll be back ASAP – if you’re craving epic eats with unbeatable views, run, don’t walk, to The Hideout. 5 stars all the way!

Small – parking can be a bit challenging but worth it. Can’t wait to try the Friday Fish Fry. Our breakfasts were awesome – the SOS is 100% home made and the Eggs Benedict were some of the best according to my wife.

I’m a breakfast lover and the Hideout does not disappoint! Blueberry pancake with a side of bacon Pro Tip: bring your own 100% maple syrup if you’re Bougie like me. (No worries, the staff will not judge you!)
If you’re an early bird, it’s also a great place to catch the sunrise while in Key Largo.

**Hiden Gem in Key Largo!** Fantastic little place down by the water way at the end of the road. Very unassuming, simple. We sat outside on the screened porch, but there’s a good amount of indoor seating too. The price are very reasonable and the food is fantastic. They do breakfast everyday from 6a-2p with a great menu. Friday nights is All you can eat fish fry! It comes with a hush puppy, conch fritter, fries and beans! These beans will rock your world. Oh and also includes up to 5 beers! I’ve already been here twice. If you want a simple non touristy place, check out the Hideout!

Just like the name, it’s definitely in a little hideout spot on a road towards the end near the water. The location is beautiful and the restaurant feels like it was a home that was converted into a restaurant. Preferably should sit in the patio area to have the best views of the ocean. Servers were good but mine forgot my hashbrown casserole. I had ordered the phillycheese steak omelet with hashbrown casserole and sourdough bread. Instead of the hashbrown casserole i received the regular potatoes. I told the waitress about the mishap and she gladly said she would bring the casserole out. Problem was that it took so long that by the time the casserole came out i was done with my omelet and bread. The casserole was also very heavily seasoned with black pepper to the point that it tasted spicy and i only had 2 bites. Other than that the omelet was great. I don’t know if I’ll be back but was bummed out on my first experience.
