Easy order kiosk. First time ever had to scan a ticket to get my drink, lol, fun. Oreo shake was delicious! Garlic steakburger, with garlic butter bun…..BOMB!! My boyfriend said the single butter steakburger with chili cheese fries are Amazing! Superb! He could eat here everyday! It was made in a timely fashion. Definitely need to try this place if you have not!

This one as very good food! Every now & then they make burgers ahead & stack them at the griddle.(yuk) Sometimes they might slip you cold fries, but they will give you some fresh ones quickly if you ask.
My first visit was in the Drive thru & everything was awful. It took two years but we went inside for a second visit & it’s a different experience
completely! I would never due the drive thru again.
Inside the food is almost always fresh & hot. The prices are extremely reasonable.
We are now frequent visitors!

We ate inside and one of the young ladies working, Paulie, was constantly checking on tables to make sure everything was good. When she wasn’t checking on customers, she was cleaning. Great to see a young person with that level of customer service!

If you haven’t been to Steak ‘n Shake in a while, you have to do absolutely everything on your own except cook the food, and never talk to a human. The food was okay but they did mess up our order. Our drink tickets wouldn’t scan so we couldn’t get our drinks without other customers help. I am not impressed with the new self-serve Steak ‘n Shake. Some restaurants can pull it off but they cannot.

Service 5 stars bc there is zero staff interaction there. Order on kiosks. Name called when food is ready but im from NY and we dont have these and I hate fast food. The bacon n cheese single was delicious. The burger seasoning salty but I looove salt and the bacon was crispy – exactly how I like it. Id replace McDonald’s and burger king and Wendy’s with this if I could.

Steak n Shake has gone the way of the golden arches- death by a thousand cuts to their customers.
You have to order your food from a kiosk or an app…OK, but WHY must it be so complicated!? Then, they have the audacity to request a tip!!! I did everything myself- WHO deserves the tip!!?
In our case, my spouse x3!
We ordered. We paid. We went to fill our drinks- spoiler alert! You have to FIND a rare service employee to obtain a large drink cup.
We did.
But, then: NO ICE.
So, we find the rare service employee AGAIN– we get our ice & fill our drinks.
Spoiler alert! They no longer use the crushed ice we loved them for.
We didn’t even bother trying to find a staff member when my spouse slipped in catsup on the floor. He got some napkins & wiped it up so others wouldn’t fall.
Now, I ask you, WHO deserves the tip!?
Here’s a tip: This will be our last visit to Steak n Shake. Corporate greed, not service personnel is the problem.
