Had a great time again today. Good and service are always topnotch.
Our first visit to Pete’s Legacy Diner was such a great experience — and we went as a family of four, with our two kids in tow. There was plenty of parking, and even though we had to wait a few minutes for a table, the kids didn’t mind one bit thanks to the beautiful fish tank near the entrance. It was spotless, full of colorful fish, and honestly one of the cleanest tanks we’ve seen at a restaurant.
Our server, Camille, made us feel welcome right away. She was so friendly, patient with the kids, and had this calm, genuine energy that made the meal feel relaxed and fun.
The food was excellent — probably the best we’ve had at a local diner so far. The French fries were hot, crisp, and perfectly salted. The milkshakes (vanilla and chocolate) were thick, creamy, and full of flavor. The fried haddock was outstanding — one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The pancakes were fluffy and just right, though the syrup could’ve been a bit better.
Camille checked on us several times with a warm smile, making sure everything was good. She even gave each of our kids a little pumpkin before we left — such a sweet touch that absolutely made their day.
When the kids say it’s a “20 out of 5 stars” place, you know it’s special. We’ll definitely be back — I think we just found our new favorite diner.
Meal type: …
It was a nice size portion of sausage biscuits and gravy and home fries, cooked perfectly with a great taste. The service is always good, and the atmosphere pleasant.
In my opinion the best breakfast in the area. Big portions of food. And great service.
Today 3/24/25. Went for breakfast with a family member. We both ordered sausage biscuits and gravy. They were out of biscuits so it came on bread instead, it still had a wonderful taste to it. Also a full order of french toast a half order of corned beef hash.
Today, for breakfast, I ordered three pancakes, with a grilled pumpkin muffin and a half order of corned beef hash. Then I ordered a breakfast sandwich with sausage on a roll with home fries to go for lunch later today.
The pancakes practically took up the whole plate. They were very good and filled me up. The grilled pumpkin muffin, even though it was a little dark, still tasted good. The corned beef hash was ok.
The breakfast sandwich later was delicious with good taste.
My waitress was very good.
Definitely give them a chance if you get to.
What was ordered:
Blueberry pancakes with additional strawberry toppings.
Two eggs scrambled with homefries, and rye toast.
Hot tea.
Thank you for the experience!
My party (of four) and I originally stopped at Skylark Diner for my husband’s birthday brunch. We were brushed off and rudely asked to wait outside in the cold. We decided to leave.
Then, we chose to stop here. Despite being busy, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was so attentive and hospitable! Our experience here really changed our morning around.
All our food came out in reasonable time. The portions were decent for the price of our meals. I ordered the Western Omelette with whole wheat toast and potato side. And everything tasted delicious and hot. No complaints.
