From the atmosphere/concert side of things, absolutely top notch!!! Part of large Harley dealership, so everything centered around motorcycle culture and I am OK with that.
Plenty of friendly people to get you parked very close to venue, any closer and I would have been inside of it.
Primarily an outdoor patio with huge picnic tables, there is a fairly large bar inside a big garage door, I would assume it serves as restaurant on non concert days. Very big counter outside to order food, several beer/non alcoholic drinks bars and a dedicated by the pour whisky bar.
Moderate sized stage under a large red steel pavilion. Lawn chairs are permitted but you have to sit on the wings in the open. Under the “shed” is Standing Room Only. I’m 58 years old and okay with that.
Drove 3 hours to see Govt Mule here. Would I do it again? Without hesitation, YES!!! I think of a lot of places that could learn a thing or three on how to run an event.
Besides the Pulled Pork and maybe it was a one off because of increased show business, I will be looking forward to more trips to The Shed.
Food was good, atmosphere is awesome and all of the memorabilia is endless.
The space can accommodate larger groups but mind the time you’re coming in. They can get really busy so if you’re concerned, just give them a call!
The BBQ was good, not great, but good. That being said, what a great place to enjoy a few drinks and some food. The service and people working that are great. Worth the stop.
While waiting in line outside, I noticed a four foot long, two foot high wall of chicken breasts sitting on a prep table as two ladies appeared to be shredding it up. The chicken and pork were so dry you had to pour sauce all over it eat it. It was also served cold along with sides. And to think I passed bbq places the street on the way that I heard from others nearby before the show started.
Great show with Big Head Todd but that was it. I would recommend you eat before you arrive..
