We copied another table’s order — it felt a bit risky, but it was totally worth it. It took us out of our comfort zone and we ended up loving every single dish.
We had the shrimp dumplings, rice crepe with fried donut, chicken feet, pork soup dumplings, deep-fried shrimp rolls, baby bok choy with oyster sauce, and hot & sour soup — everything was delicious
I ordered beef honeycomb tripe, but they brought the wrong dish twice. The second time was still incorrect, but I just went with it (maybe they were out and decided to substitute it).
The food was okay overall. I tried the chicken feet, taro cake, stuffed tofu skin, lettuce oyster, and egg custard tart. 6/10
The drinks were the highlight, very refreshing! Mango was so good 8.5/10, and the lychee honeydew was excellent 9.5/10.
Service was quick, and the restroom was clean.
The service at this establishment was consistently inadequate and should be improved. Look the photos there is no water, our plates is saucer! Unacceptable!
The service was hit-or-miss—some of the waitstaff and seemed a bit grumpy, which was unexpected. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chicago with stunning views of the skyline. While there are definite highlights here, like the food and location, the overall impression could be improved with a few adjustments to service and the interior layout.
We ordered Dim Sum, Streamed bun, and meat meals like crispy pork belly and beef briskets and enjoyed them.
All staff are very welcome and kind. I would recommend this place if you crave Chinese food in Chicago.
