Thankfully, the OTHER Taco Bells do a much better job when I travel/vacation. This one, not so much!
Came back through the drive through to get it fixed only to receive 2 more disgusting tortillas loaded with sauce and barely anything else. For $7 a quesadilla this is outrageous and SO disappointing.
Worst experience ever, I paid almost $15 for this which is restaurant prices at that point.
I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my order. As a former Taco Bell employee I understand exactly why this happens: when a car pulls up to the window, a timer starts, and it only stops when the car drives away. This location seems to be manipulating those numbers to make their window times look better. During my wait, I saw two employees sitting outside for several minutes.
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback in hopes that this location can focus on improving service times in a way that feels more transparent and customer-friendly.
First I want to say I’m not sure what it is about Taco Bell’s, but the Eastgate location and this location is terrible! I’m only saying this because I’m not had ONE successful trip since I had tried to do four separate Uber eats pickups between the Eastgate and Milford location just in the last month. Every single time it’s been a skate that I’ve had the issue with up until this morning at around 2:15 a.m. on June 2nd 2024.
I received an order. Went to pick it up here at the Milford location YES at this address. I pull up to the speaker and was not greeted at all. I thought that was odd but I sat there for a few minutes and nothing happened. So I drove up to the window and I can hear water running and pans being moved around or washed etc which obviously let me know that somebody is in there or workers are in there. I even did something I’ve never thought of doing before or what attempt to do until tonight. I opened up my car door and knocked on the window. Nobody came up to the window. I started to reverse to go back to the speaker to give it one more shot. As I began to back up I saw a car come around that was going to come up to the speaker. I opened up my car door and I asked them if they were picking up an order too. They said that they were just there to order food. Struck up a conversation with that person for about 30 seconds. I asked if they knew that online it shows that they are open till 3:00 a.m. and the girl replied by saying yes. She also said which I thought was weird that she had tried calling and nobody picked up. After that She only waited for about a minute behind me and she left. I still sat there for a minute or two and tried to get somebody to respond. I started to pull for it again and as I approached the window there happened to be a guy who was passing by and caught a glimpse of me. His name was Gabriel I found out. I told him I was there to pick up an order and he said they close at 2:00 am. I told him that it shows online that they are open until 3:00 a.m. he responded by telling me that he is aware but he doesn’t know why that it shows that they’re open till 3:00 a.m. because they are only open until 2:00 a.m. and IF they truly are open until 3:00 a.m. which by the way online indicates that they are open until 3:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays like a lot of other fast food restaurants that stay open a little bit later on those particular days because it’s a weekend, and Gabriel said, IF we are open until 3:00 a.m., my GM has not said anything to me and they need to update us and let us know. He said, in fact I plan on asking my GM about that tomorrow which I’m assuming he meant today. At the beginning of the conversation he said that he’s been aware of this for months. But towards the end of the conversation I asked him how long this has been going on for? He then said for about a month. What did he mean by that? After he made the statement about the GM needing to let them know if they are open until 3:00 a.m., he said that that needs to be done so that they don’t have to keep turning away a bunch of people who are coming to pick up orders or others getting food. I lost out on more than $15 because of this. Either way Taco Bell needs to update google, their site, & employees.
