Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I really like this food here, but I went through the drive through today. The person who took my order was really rude and rushed me. I was confused on what they were asking me, and I responded with I’m getting this, and they said, yes, what size, medium or large in a really rude and rushed tone, I get my food, I open it up, and the gravy is just all over the inside of my food, not in the container. I would have liked it if they took their time instead of throwing stuff in there, not closing the container properly, because then that’s a waste of product. I think that they may need to work on a little bit of customer service, so that way, the employees don’t sound rude and like they’re rushing the customer, I like to eat there, it’s really good food, it’s just a couple of things I think need to be worked on.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my visit to Whataburger was so bad that I feel the need to warn others. First, I found a long brownish hair in my burger absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. How does something like this even happen? Clearly, there’s a serious lack of hygiene and quality control in the kitchen.

Then, on my other burger, I specifically asked for extra mustard, but instead, it was completely drenched in it. It wasn’t just extra it was like someone squeezed an entire bottle onto the burger. It was a complete mess, practically inedible, and it made me wonder if the employees even read the orders or just throw things together carelessly.

To make things even worse, the bacon was severely undercooked. It was so soft and fatty that it felt like I was biting into raw meat. Bacon should be at least somewhat crispy, not chewy and slimy. It’s shocking that this even made it out of the kitchen it felt like no one even bothered to check if the food was properly cooked.

What’s even more disappointing is that just 2 or 3 months ago, the quality at this location was much better. Either management has changed, or something else is going on behind the scenes, but it’s clear that this is not the same Whataburger I used to enjoy. The food quality, attention to detail, and overall care have taken a serious nosedive.

Between the unsanitary conditions, careless preparation, and complete lack of attention to customer requests, this was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had in a long time. If this is the new standard at Whataburger, I won’t be coming back. Management seriously needs to step up and fix these issues before more customers are driven away.

All I ordered was 2 sausage and biscuits had to wait 15 min in drive thru. They had me pull up and wait while 2 cars behind me got large sacks. This store is constantly slow, the only reason I even use this store is for my wife. I abousolutly hate going here.

I just went there to order taquito with sausage and cheese and add two pieces of bacon and the order of hash browns.. I received my order the hash browns were way overcooked they were hard. The eggs on the taquitos were browned you could taste the browned eggs in the taquito. So basically everything way overcooked to where it had a bad flavor….. Do better it’s breakfast and so easy to prepare and you ruined it!!!!

This has got to be the cleanest whataburger I’ve ever visited. The food was fresh…just like it used to be. Very impressed with how well managed the entire crew is. Kudos to the managers in charge. Great to see employees taking pride in the product they’re delivering. Best chicken sandwich ever! Fresh, tasty and juicy!

I use to love this place, it’s changed, I have ordered here 2wice through drive through whole order wrong and over cooked, I was asked by Jacob the manager if I wanted to come back now why, at 5am someone would come back to get an order, Whataburger, Cypress Creek you are losing customers. You guys do something.

One of the better Whataburgers I’ve been to. Went around 2pm and tried ordering through the kiosk. The kiosk froze and would let me complete my order but, a worker quickly came over to help and take my order. The food came out very quickly (around 6 minutes).
