I want to love Bandana’s but it’s just not my favorite place to get BBQ. It’s perfectly acceptable. Meats are tender. Flavor is decent. Just not mind blowing. Service is good. Prices are affordable. Portions are adequate. Eat here, it IS good. I just can’t seem to fall in love. But do give them a try. I’m not giving up yet.

Ate here on a weekend evening. It was not very busy… which is telling. Ordered the choose two and decided on the burnt ends and pulled pork.
It edible, but most definitely undersmoked. Unfortunately, I could not eat the “burnt ends” as they were little better than gelatinous cubes. A little dry for meat, and flavor was found lacking. I did like the fried corn, but a bit of butter would have helped. The baked beans were meh.

BBQ is very complicated to prepare, cook properly, and maintain in a commercial venue. I cannot rate it like a competition as that is cost prohibitive. I would say it is “aight” for BBQ and would make a fine family dinner venue.

Awesome barbeque restaurant. All the food we ordered was excellent at 7:30pm on a Sunday evening. Not busy, waitress was great. Yummy food = ribs, chicken tenders, fries, bbq beans, baked potato, fried okra. Just wished they weren’t out of burnt ends. Bathrooms do need updating, a bit worn.

We were warmly welcomed by our waitress, Grace. She seated us immediately and was extremely kind and personable! We chatted for a minute, then she took our order. When our food came out it looked and tasted amazing. The pulled pork was super tender and juicy. Portion sizes are great, it was 100% worth the cost. Grace checked on us multiple times and made our visit enjoyable and worthwhile. I will be back! I ordered a pork dinner platter, I ordered extra garlic bread, and a baked potato with butter, cheese, and sour cream for my sides. Delicious!

Decent local version of a Texas style BBQ restaurant. Food was served reasonably quickly, food came out at a good temperature.

Got the Pork Lovers Feast for Three for the family. Sides chosen were fried okra, fries, and coleslaw. Fried okra was done just right. Coleslaw was good and the fires were… fries; nothing particularly notable about them.

The cook and sauce on the pork was ok. It really seemed like it needed more of something, it did have a slightly grainy texture like the dry seasoning needed to cook with the juices a bit more.

Service was good, no complaints; but not particularly notable. Restaurant was clean and the restaurant’s atmosphere was pleasing.

Went into Bandana’s to grab a quick lunch. I perused the menu, thinking I’d just get a pulled pork sandwich and fries, and that’s what I ended up getting. I didn’t see the budget-busting platters, which were under $10, and my sandwich cost almost $13. My bad. But the sandwich was good, the pork was tender and moist, and the barbecue sauces—they have about six there on the table—were very good. The service was great. Bandana’s is a good place to eat if you’re looking for barbecue.

If this review is helpful, please give me a thumbs up.

The scenery looked good, they had a selection of sauces available at the table, the food was cooked well, tasted even better. The briskett was really good would definitely recommend along with their ribs. Their sides the potato salad, baked potato, BBQ beans, and coleslaw was really good as well though I do not belive they are all made in house. Our waitress Carrie was a sweetheart checked on us and helped me remember a movie name. All around good food, good service, and even though I ordered a lot of food I did not wait a long time to receive it.

The food is always reliable. Simple good food. We were greeted enthusiastically. The star of the show was our waitress, Grace. She is a customer service professional. Wonderful smile, good attitude, and always there when we expected her. We have been visiting here for 5 years. Tonight our visit was exceptional.

The brisket was flavorful. It didn’t NEED sauce, but they have 6-7 to choose from. Ken thought the catfish was “okay”. I especially like that you can choose various amounts of meat on your platter, from 3 ounces up to 9 ounces.

As soon as we walked in Bandanas, we knew we found the right place for lunch. We smelled the delicious aroma of barbecue from the moment we opened the door. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.
