Josephine was a great server—friendly, relaxed, and attentive in a way that made the night feel easy.
The food is where Riverhorse really separates itself. It’s not overworked or trendy, it’s just excellent. The buffalo tartare was flavorful, and straightforward. The tuna entrée was perfectly cooked and balanced. The salad was fresh and delivious, and the halibut with mashed potatoes was exactly what you want.
Amy, the manager, was incredibly understanding about a mix-up with an earlier reservation and applied the no-show fee to our meal tonight without hesitation.
Head and shoulders above the rest of the Park City dining scene. If you want a truly great meal in a refined setting, this is the place.
Highly recommend.
This place is a 10 star.
We were seated by the window.
What an experience.
The food is even better.
Had the Trio meat and it’s a must.
Won’t disappoint.
We got a 3 course meal and it was fantastic. There were a handful of appetizers that came out (mostly seafood), the main course was either halibut, trout, or ribeye, and the desserts were chocolate lava cake or cheesecake! Everything came out hot and timely, while still allowing our party to chat and celebrate. Our server, I think his name was Daniel or Michael, was great. The rest of the staff that helped with orders and bringing out food was also incredibly kind and efficient. This place is a must visit for an amazing fine dining experience.
Make sure you have a reservation
Great cocktails and an amazing server couldn’t save a night of wildly inconsistent food, salty-then-bland entrées, and a manager who insisted a half lobster tail was somehow a whole one. Left with a lighter wallet, an uncorrected bill, and the distinct feeling that honesty is not on the menu.
We’ve had great meals here in the past, but this visit was extremely disappointing. While our server, Josephine, was fantastic and the cocktails were excellent, the food was all over the place.
Several dishes were far too salty (steaks, Trio of Wild Game, crabcake appetizer), while others like the salads and fish had almost no seasoning. Even the replacement dishes came out under‑seasoned and not cooked to the right temperatures.
What really changed our opinion, though, was a billing issue at the end of the night. A half lobster‑tail add‑on was served, but the bill charged for a full tail. When we brought it up, the manager dismissed us, insisted we were wrong, and refused to adjust the check. It felt unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational.
Between the inconsistent food and poor management response, this visit fell far below the standard we used to enjoy here. Definitely hoping it was an off night, but based on this experience, it’s hard to recommend.
