Amazing butter chicken, it hard to compare this restaurant to my hometown Indian place because they’re both amazing and both of five star quality. The butter chicken and naan here is a delight.

In fact, dare I say the naan is MANDATORY. Please do not order anything here without having some naan to go with it, you will miss out on a great experience.

Upon my next return to the Guadalajara valley (Atemajac Valley) I will be returning here to Goa.

I was craving Indian food while in Mexico and was so happy to find something local. As someone who eats Indian food all over the world I have to say that this was some of the best. The mango lassi was so flavorful. I don’t know if it was traditional or influenced by local Mexican flavors but 10 out of 10 we shared one curry between two people and it was perfect with extra naan. The service was great. Our waiter was charming and another man I believe was the owner checked on us and was very sweet. If you want something delicious and different please go to Goa. I wanted to stay around forever.

I visited this Indian restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
My biggest concern was hygiene and the unprofessional behavior of the staff. There was an elderly staff member taking orders who made multiple mistakes. We were served the wrong dish and were almost forced to eat it instead of it being corrected. His attitude was strange and unprofessional throughout our visit. It look long time to be served food. We almost wasted 3 hrs for two simple dishes.

The most serious issue was that we found a cockroach in one of the drinks. The staff did not handle the situation properly and showed no responsibility or concern. At the time of payment, we were given an incorrect bill, and when we asked for clarification, the staff argued with us instead of resolving the issue politely.

Additionally, the child chair was extremely dirty and unhygienic—completely unsafe for a child to sit on.

Overall, the experience was a complete disaster and a waste of money. I have never experienced this level of poor service in any restaurant in Mexico before. I will never visit this place again and do not recommend it. There are many much better Indian restaurants in the city.

Some of the worst indian food I’ve had in my life. But that’s not the worst part. The service and the treatment we received here was worse than anywhere else in Guadalajara. The waiter was extremely rude and demanded tips for bad service and overcharged us for food including demanding only cash payment.

We ordered Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Naan and Gajar ka Halwa. Butter chicken didn’t taste like butter chicken, it had very strong flavor of ketchup and the chicken pieces tasted like preserved canned chicken, it had no flavor. Tandoori chicken was not bad. Mutton Biryani tasted good but meat portion was very little, it had only 4 pieces. Gajar ka halwa looked weird but the taste was very good. Attitude of waiter(old guy) was ok towards us but we saw him being rude to one Delivery pick up guy who came in front of us, Delivery guy was telling him the right way to pack take away which totally made sense to us but the waiter was stubborn and he walked away telling Delivery guy “Do it by yourself”. Atmosphere is dark and not at all energetic, Music played was very old and kind of sad but perfect for heartbroken person.

My husband and I used to love this place, we would go/order once or twice a month. However we’ve had multiple incidents where we have not received the best service nor quality of food. In terms of service, my husband (Mexican) who really likes and tolerates spicy food orders his curry as spicy as possible, and he once was mocked by a server who told him he was going to “do him the favor” of not entering his order as spicy as my husband was requesting it, as he was sure my husband would not tolerate it. In terms of the food, we love how many vegetarian options there are, but lately quality has been lacking. Rice we ordered though Uber eats a few days ago came dripping in oil, and it was not even indian rice. We really like Goa, but they have to do better.

Ordered through uber eats. The dal tarka was stale, had a pungent taste and smell. The basmati rice was undercooked and raw. Was really looking forward to having good Indian food but such a disappointment – if you make bad dal chawal then it’s not worth it. Would not recommend.

This was the second Indian restaurant I tried in Guadalajara and I’m glad I did. The chef is Indian and the food has authentic taste in it. I had Bhuna Gohst (meat) with Naan which was very tasty. Also the Indian Chai was very good.

The place is on a side street very close to Chapultepec avenue.

I recommend this place for Indian cuisine in GDL.
