Mr. Sushi was pretty solid. It’s not a place I would recommend if you are looking for atmosphere but the sushi rolls were good and the service was fast. We ate dinner there on a Friday night and there were not many people in the restaurant.

The experience of this place reminded me, once again, DO NOT EAT ASIAN FOOD IN OHIO, especially Sushi, not only far from authentic, it was horrible. From the empty restaurant, immature service, to bad attitude, to awefully made sushi rice….
The waitress did not tell us she was new, and did not bother to clarify anything with us while taking our orders, and acted like she got it all. BUT when she put in our orders, it was ALL screwed up. After we waited forever, wrong order came, she talked to the “manager”, the manager did not bother to confirm anything with us, instead just put in another random item on behalf of us LOL, what a joke, then brought it to us, and said, I put this in based on our avocado roll order, which is the only thing came out right. we did not eat any of the items they gave us that was wrong, the experience itself already made me lost my appetite.
SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE … I cannot say it enough, this is the ONE thing that differentiates a good restaurant from the rest.

Izzy is the best server. I had her at Tom’s Watch Bar and me and my friend came to Mr. Sushi after she said she worked there too. We are so happy we had her as a server again. She’s very sweet and takes good care of me or anyone I have around have around. I will always suggest Mr. Sushi to my friends and family. The sushi there even without her is amazing. This is mine and mine gfs favorite place to get sushi now! Izzy is the best!

I went to dinner by myself to treat myself after a long week. I got their Vegetable Spring Rolls and Mr. Sushi’s Spicy Chicken. They were delicious I find that this place is one of comfort for me because I just absolutely love Asian food and their atmosphere is just so cozy. They even have my favorite beer, which they never have anywhere, which I was delighted to find. Red Stripe beer goes so well with Asian food. One of my favorite places ❤️

We came early for dinner. It was not too busy. Some people preferred sitting at the bar. There were only 2 persons who waited tables, also handled the register, and takeout orders. The service was quick, even only with 2 waiters.
Food:
1. Kalbi was ok. The meat was tender, but little bit chewy.
2. Udon was good. The broth was good.
3. Tempura was standard- nothing special.
4. The entree came with salad and miso soup. The salad dressing was different-most sushi/japanese salad dressing was either wafu or miso or sesame.
5. Spicy tuna roll was good.
Overall was good.

LARGE sushi menu. I was in heaven as I am an avid sushi eater and always trying to find new sushi I haven’t tried. I got the Caterpillar Roll and the Spicy Cody Roll minus the sriracha, which were both good. My partner got the beef fried rice with no veggies and the steak was somewhat overcooked but still decent. Prices are a little high but the quality of the food was great. Only bad thing was you pay individually for each side of yum yum/ginger dressing/eel sauce that you get which is about $1 for each.

It was a long time since I had delicious Japanese food. The service was fast, and since they didn’t have any large bottles of beer, they replaced it with two small bottles of larger capacity for the same price. The stir-fried vegetables in particular were delicious with a Chinese-style seasoning.

I didn’t eat here but want to give this restaurant my business . We were at a nearby restaurant who had plumbing issues and this very clean restaurant offered their facilities to the other restaurant patrons to use. They were most welcoming knowing we were only there to use the very clean restroom. That goes a very long way in my book!
