About Us
5 Lakes Brew Pub, formerly known as 5 Lakes Brewing Co., which was located in Dorr; is now owned and operated by Doug & Cindy Lameyer and Mark & Roxanne Edema. Our roots run deep in the Byron Center area and we are excited to start our new chapter at the Tanger Outlet. We strive to make you feel at-home when you dine with us.
We cook from scratch to give you a variety of our specially crafted appetizers, burgers, pizza & many more delicious items. Our soups and chilis are all housemade as well as many of our sauces and ranch dressing.
5 Lakes Brew Pub will now serve domestic and craft beers along with our 5 Lakes brew. We have a variety of domestic & Michigan wines and your favorite cocktails.

Carnivore pizza was good. Did the butter garlic crust.
Tried the house made beers. if your more into ipas then you’ll probably like them. 3 of the 5 were a bit to hoppy for me. The other two were a mild coffee flavor. I enjoyed those ok.

We discovered this place at the recommendation of someone and also realizing there were restaurants at Tanger Outlet Mall.
I can’t believe we have not been here before. It’s conveniently located within the Outlet Mall, so shop, eat and drink til your hearts content.
The place is clean, roomy and alive with activity. There is a full service bar, high top tables and regular tables within the place. It also appeared there is an outdoor seating area, but it was closed for the winter.
The waitress and host were friendly and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks and food came out really fast.
The food was amazing. The group ordered various things. The nachos are HUGE! We chose beef for the meat but you can also get chicken and I think something else. Come hungry if you order this one. It also came with sour cream and salsa at not up charge. We did add the queso for an additional $2. The chips, toppings were all very fresh. The meat was not greasy and plentiful.
The other dishes were a Reuben sandwich and a turkey wrap. Both of those were advised to be really good. The tater tots that came as aside on one dish was good but we’ve had better.
Overall, we would definitely come back here again.

The quesadillas are fantastic, but the chicken tenders were pretty dry. Lots of good options on the menu for pub-like food. Great service. The music is pretty loud. Lots of screens all around with sports playing. Fun restaurant, but not intimate.

i have been here several times, and have always had good food. menu has good variety and creative things. we were there with friends last night and i was concerned right from the start. our server (only one wearing a pink t-shirt) never cracked a smile and had a look like we were kind of inconveniencing her. i can let that go, everyone has bad days, maybe something going on in life. but a server is there to “serve”. she took our order, and that’s the last we saw of her until we were 3/4 done eating, had to flag down a manager walking by to take care of drinks. the other thing i hate in the restaurant trend now days is the “food runner”. runner brought out apps, (delicious btw) but we just got started on that when the runner brings our mains out, a “server” should know to give ample time to eat apps before getting the main out, i’m out for a relaxing time with friends, i felt like we were taking up space and needed to chow down. bill time came and we had to go over everything with the server again as to how things were divided up, we did that very clearly when we ordered. i do not mind tipping wait staff well, but i do expect a certain level of service before i do. honestly, if we had more time to eat the apps, and a more attentive server there probably would have been another round of drinks purchased, and we went somewhere else for dessert. all that being said, go there for the food and hopefully you will get better service.

Visited on a Monday evening on St. Patrick’s day. We started with an order of bosco sticks, they are covered in buttery garlic and taste amazing. I ordered a 13th st brown ale, which was really good, gave coffee vibes but was lighter than a stout. My kiddo ordered the kids meal with a hot dog and fries, she liked it and said the fries were seasoned well. She keeps saying they had the best food ever. I had the jalepeno popper burger and tots, the burger was a tad dry but was do flavorful with the cream cheese. I used the southwest ranch dressing to dip my tots and couldn’t recommend more. We finished with the chocolate lava cake and ice cream, which was warm, gooey, and chocolaty.
Our server was attentive, kind, and fun.
Overall, great experience!!

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The burgers were absolutely delicious and clearly made with care; we really enjoyed every bite. We also ordered the hummus platter as an appetizer, and it was very good, fresh, and flavorful. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly nice and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend this place to others.

We were shopping late at the outlets snd needed dinner before driving back up north to home. Decided to try this place and super.glad we did! Best gluten-free burger bun at a restaurant that we’ve each had in a very long time. Split the Sunshine Burger, tors and sweet potato waffle fries and left funn and happy! Server took great care of us and the food was great (the food is better than the rather cold, party-style ambiance. Just go in and get a table already!) Prices are high but you hwt that quality, so worth it for us, plus we split a Burger, which was plenty of food. Place is clean and cared for. We will definitely go back!

There is so much potential. Everything was covered in salt. How a burger can be dry and cold is beyond my understanding. Then again, everything was cold and dry, like really really really dry. Should’ve know it was going i be a problem went they didn’t ask how we wanted the burgers cooked. Everything came out faster than a drive through but obviously bc everything is pre made and nuked on the microwave…. SERVICE WAS GREAT, disappointing food, should’ve just went to culvers. Disappointed we wasted our night out on this dinner.

Probably one of the best experiences from a restaurant, in the Grand Rapids area, that we have had in awhile. Big shout out to our bartender, Tim! This was our first time here and he absolutely nailed it on service. My wife is gluten free and this place has tons of GF options and the kitchen is GF friendly (separate kitchen).
