I brought my daughters here for lunch. The menu options were good and prices weren’t bad for all that they had. However the service was very impersonal and staff had loud conversations that were distracting. Nobody was rude, just seemed uninterested in us. The atmosphere was pretty basic. Nothing exciting at all. The table we sat at was really small and we were pretty squished.

only took a photo for the last thing I ate. sushi here is amazing! my husband and I just celebrated our 12 year anniversary and brought along our kiddo. there is all-you-can-eat sushi where you can choose between a lunch menu that consists of various rolls, or the dinner menu ($10 more). the dinner menu is worth it if you are a big nigiri lover like myself.
for all you can eat, you have to sit at the bar, and they were accommodating with our baby sitting up there as well, even suggesting the car seat sling over the highchair for safety reasons.
we will absolutely be coming back, even though we live over an hour away!

The salmon was very fresh , and the rolls were flavorful and fun to eat . It was a great energy boost for us after hiking at Snow Lake ️ . The staff were super friendly and welcoming .

The “all you can eat” sushi bar is phenomenal; Mike did an awesome job, and had great recommendations. Worth the price/wait for sure to do the all you can eat menu at the sushi bar.
Some of the most unique roll flavor profiles I’ve ever had. The specialty rolls are definitely not traditional, but are definitely delicious. You’ll see things like white onion or cilantro or chili sauce on some rolla, but it all really comes together (try the Mr. Charlie).

Stay away if you like good sushi. Good ambiance, okay service, bad food. I walked in for an early dinner at around 5pm. I had the chicken yakitori and the chef’s selection of nigiri. The chicken was good. The sushi tasted like it was bought from the grocery store two days ago. Cold, stale rice. Fish sliced hours/days ago with chili oil on top to hide the bad taste.

Was going about 3 times a month from 2012- 2014, I would come from Renton to enjoy this fabulous sushi, got to know the chefs and was treated like part of the family!
I should stop by again but ive found the south center location and it’s the exact same! Love this restaurant!!

Me and my friend have been to plenty of Trappers Sushi just not this location, back from a day’s hike we decided to stop here. We were greeted by a nice host she said us and said there was an all you can eat, just communicate what you want to the guy making the food and he will make it for you. My friend made his order to the guy and I asked the guy if they have anything that has garlic and salmon he just said no.. absolutely no feedback or recommendation after reading the menu I saw there was a lot of stuff that had garlic. I ordered the Phoenix as the waitress said that it was good we waited and waited so long that my friend text me and he said hey man should our food not be ready by now. I text him back I was thinking the same thing as a lot of time had passed maybe 20 to 25 minutes and our first order of food was nowhere to be seen the guy was so quiet and noncommunicative we did not feel welcome my friend said to me I don’t want to spend money somewhere while I’m not welcomed. But we decided to ask him if it was almost done as he was working on a dish he said that that was not ours that he was working on but the other two tables already had a lot of food on them so maybe it was to go order but if you’re going to an all-you-can-eat and seated at the food bar 25 minutes and you haven’t even started to make ours and there’s absolutely no warm welcome and short answers are not good customer service. I rarely do bad reviews but the energy in there was bad as was his service. The lady that greeted us was nice but that’s about it.

Great sushi! Always delicious. Every bite is good. We almost always order the Rock-n-Roll and the Sashimi Platter and then try a new role or two in addition. Even the miso soup, cucumber salad, and green tee is delicious.
