I prefer the Council Tree Branch because of its location next to the library. But this is also an excellent place. The location is much more Central right on College and Horsetooth. I’ve come here for many years because of the sip club drink membership. For $15 a month unlimited coffee tea and cold drinks. When you sign up on their website usually the first three months are only $5. It’s a great deal. I don’t like the flavor of the coffee particularly but with unlimited refills and self-service you can’t beat that. Nice people come here. There are many church and Bible study groups that meet here. I don’t particularly like the food and I rarely eat here. The Wi-Fi is reliable but slower than the branch at Council Tree. Council Tree Panera also has access to four other Wi-Fis that come to the store from Dazbog the Public Library and two others.

Salad was very fresh and tasty! Greens were crisp, balsamic coating was perfect under the green goddess. They never have trouble customizing, and always plate with a smile. Great quantity, I always feel like I get more when I dine in. Dining in is comfortable, clean, and inviting with good music.

We ordered rapid pick up. When we arrived there was one person in the kitchen filling orders, 8 people waiting for orders and our order had not been started. 10 minutes later two more people joined the kitchen staff. 10 more minutes I heard the manager correcting a young man who was making sandwiches. 5 more minutes i saw that our order was finally being filled. As I was watching the young lady fill the bag with our order I heard the manager testing the staff, who was filling orders, asking them how many ounces of meat or other ingredients should be in the different menu items. I interrupted the young lady to ask if our large order could be put in a bag with handles at which point she stopped answering the manager and gave us our order. This was dinner rush hour and the staff was still behind on filling orders. This did not seem like the time to be grilling the staff or training the staff as to how they should be making the menu items. The staff running the registers were very polite and kind. The food was good.

Panera claims to use fresh, clean food, but my experience with the last couple of salads I’ve gotten here have been anything but fresh. Today I had rotten, black edged lettuce all through my Caesar salad-almost a third of it rotten. The worst part: this was my REMAKE! Apparently the cook staff can’t recognize rotten produce and served the exact same salad i got previously, like there was nothing wrong. For an $8 side salad size salad, that’s pitiful. I think mcdonalds might have fresher lettuce.
Love the staff and atmosphere here, and can’t get enough of the charged lemonade! Will definitely be back, but not for salad.

This place is NOT clean. They do not clean surfaces. There is a layer of sludge at the bottom of the coffee. There are bugs in the food. The bathroom was a warzone when I went in to simply wash my hands. I’ve seen gas stations that were in better shape. Got sick after eating here. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Done ordering from Panera bread. Not only did the delivery driver fail to knock on my door (I never requested contactless delivery, he just left it out in the cold) My cookie was sandwiched between two warm items. The frosting melted all over the front of the bag, and left the cookie totally inedible. They are frequently late, and the quality has definitely gone downhill. The only thing they ever offer is a credit for future service, but I fully expect a refund this time. What good is offering credits for shitty food?

The new menu is a disappointment. I wanted the old Turkey BLT but they dropped it from the menu . I got the new Bacon Avocado Melt which is basically avocado toast with bacon dressing. There are no strips of bacon only bacon bits. The sandwich has also shrunk to about 60% of the older counterpart.

UPDATE: DEC 26. STILL loving Panera. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. She had a bowl of chili and I had a cup of “ten vegetable soup” and a steak with white cheddar sammy. Everything was just as expected – delicious, fresh, healthy and filling. Service was fast and friendly. We dined in. Plenty of available tables. It’s cool when your day out shopping or taking care of business is complemented by a good experience at Panera. Pics attached.

Panera is popular and crazy busy as ever and if you’d rather skip the walk inside and a possible check out line to pick up your order, rapid pickup is the way to go. Using the app you’ll place your order, select the time that you’ll arrive, add your name and vehicle description, tap “I’m here” and within seconds a team member walks out your order. We had the Greek salad and the Cobb. Comes with complimentary crunchy baguette pieces and in this case, a rewards freebie – a cranberry-orange muffin. The food quality is second to none.
