I just left Hartz chicken in Cleveland tx. I went through the drive thru and ordered two baked thighs. When I received it it felt very light. So I drove off and something told me to check it. When I checked it I had one thigh small as a baby’s first and the other thigh was missing just a piece of skin. I’m like what in the Sam Hill is going on! So I drove back around to the drive thru and said y’all didn’t give me my other piece of chicken. The lady at the back said oh that was our last piece. I’m like are you serious! So the guy at the window was very nice and said he would give me one fried piece in it’s place but I said No because it was too small anyway. I could’ve ate that with one bite and half of my fingers with it. Anyway I got my money back. The key is always check your food and your change before you drive off. Update Feb 2026. I went back to this place and they had new people working there. So far everything has been great. My food has been hot and I get everything I ordered. No skin and bones. I hope it stay this way.

The buffet is always fresh and hot. the place is clean and the food taste great.I love the hot rolls . I’m going to add to my review, on my visit tonight I was all smiles coming through the door. This place is always super clean,and the Buffett is always Hot and kept fresh. I don’t even like chicken,but the owner is fined tuned to cleanliness, and great service. I have to say this is the one place to visit anytime you want a great experiance,and good hot buffet, they also have a drive through.

It sucks that they often shut down the inside. Waiting in the drive thru often takes 15-30 minutes depending on how many people in line. (It moves super slow) But the food is always fresh, and they listen to what you want. Accurate orders, nice people.
