Got the pleasure of visting this wonderful breakfast spot on my way through town. Got seated right away. The staff is very kind and attentive to their tables. I ordered the meat lovers omelet and I was very surprised at the large portion. It came in a cool skillet and was very good. They have some souvenir items you can purchase for example the coffe cups they serve you they also sell and I will say I now have a new favorite coffee cup. If you are close by and craving a filling delicious breakfast stop in here and give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Much love from texas keep up what you are doing and I hope to see you again.

Arrived here on a Thursday morning and the place was busy which was a good sign for our group of hungry guys. Server was obviously overwhelmed and handled it all like a champ along with the cook in the kitchen who they told us was new. Our group got their coffee and our orders placed while the waitress made sure we got our share of coffee. Food came out very quick and it was hot, I got the Northwoods Omelet with a side of Kalevala Hash. Food was amazing, I really liked the omelet and will definitely return again when passing by.

4.5 stars feels about right. Best option in the area. I have been here before, so even though everything was fantastic today,, it hasn’t always been, but solid every time. Excellent fast service today. The eggs were perfect. Staff today rocked it. Thank you!

This is a great spot for breakfast. A fabulous option to dine at if you’re leaving Duluth late and need to get something on the road. I received my food under ten minutes after ordering – convenient.
Awesome staff and cooks.
Obviously the town is great too, lots of stops in town to check out.

The Lazy Moose is on of our favorite restaurants. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. The made from scratch food is always delicious. On our most recent visit, we had the mushroom Swiss burger and the patty melt. The gf bread they used on the patty melt was grilled and buttery, which was a nice treat. Our sides were French fries and chickens wild rice soup. Both were delicious. The interior is nicely themed with outdoorsy feel. They have 2 locations, and both are great.

First time there and all the waiters just casually walking past me. A nice young lady at the register helped me and seated me. I had the yeti burger and I think it’s ok. When i got my check, this is my first time seeing an “optional” service charge of 12% on the bill. It’s not optional when you have to pay for it… really pricey for a burger and fries….

Menu was simple with some local staples. The walleye was delicious and the blackberry bread pudding was huge and one of my new favorite desserts!! I enjoyed the sweet cranberries in the slaw and rolls. A nice change and surprise for this Kansas girl. Will be coming back many times.

Stopped by the Lazy Moose Grill on the way home from a fishing trip—absolute gem! Trailer-friendly parking, a cozy up-north vibe, and the house blend coffee smells in the air. Had an all-day breakfast that was 10/10. The gift shop has all the high-quality, tasteful MN things. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it—this place serves up more than just great food, it’s a whole situation.
