First time visit. Ordered from the kiosk. I got the small tip Dinner. Had about a 10 min wait. Maybe from using kiosk Took a peek when i got in the car. Tips with the mild sauce, were AMAZING!!! Asked for extra sauce and they delivered. Enough to cover fries and tips, still had enough to dip in. I tried waiting till I got home but couldn’t resist. Counter service was basic but the music praying was just rightk. Lady calls your number and gives you the food. Although I think it would have been better if I had ordered from counter. Lady was very nice. Next time I won’t use kiosk.

Great food. I was so glad that they had my favorite combo. Tips, wings and links. Good sauce. But the website did not say fries. It didn’t matter, I just ordered it on the side. It took me 3 days to eat. The girl at the counter was very nice. I definitely will be back.

Nice lady at the front counter, but had to wait 45 minutes for my order. Not worth the wait IMO. Asked for an extra sauce, charged me $3.
Atmosphere was weird, they had Diddy music pumping to the gills.

I was disappointed and dissatisfied with this order. I usually order large amounts from the place. But my New Years order was dissatisfaction. Half of my tips were mostly burnt. Also I felt I was cheated and only had a half of large order. I assume it was this way this time because I ordered 2 large tips. Usually the food is good in taste, quantity and quality.

This place is definitely living up to its name “pit”. Just spent 25 minutes waiting on food for the order to be incorrect and them refusing to correct it. My 20 year old son placed an order for 2 large Turkey Tips. They provided him with Chicken Tips upon retrieving the food. He questioned the order and was rudely told “no you said chicken”. Initially he asked for chicken wings but was told no more fried food is being made which he then ordered an additional Turkey Tip. After receiving the incorrect food he asked “what to do?” I advised that he should ask for the correct order, this transaction was about 30 seconds if that. Now is where the problem starts. The cashier refused to fix the order as she express he walked out the door with the food, the same food she refused already to fix. I went in and spoke with who I was told was the “owner”, after being disregarded by the same dismissive cashier. Sadly the “owner” was worst. She act oblivious to the situation despite being just a few feet away during the initial encounters. I reexplained the entire situation for her to say they confirm chicken when he was picking up. I then again explained he questioned the order and was dismissed and came to seek advice. She proceeded to answer the phone and just walk away. I was told to step to the side and 3 other patrons were assisted. I then asked would someone/or the “owner” be coming back and was told probably not, so you can just take the food. I politely left the food and explained I would just dispute the charges. It is so sad and ridiculous how customers service and general human dignity is obsolete, especially in black owned businesses. I pray they receive some professional development and business classes that help reinforce that their success is based on retainment of customers by delivering good food, reasonable prices, and quality customer service. Based on other reviews they are consistent in 2 things being slow and rude causing disappointment customers. Sadly I wasted 40 minutes on absurdity but can say their service is reflective of the pit they’re running and I’ve definitely stopped patronizing them effectively immediately and will encourage everyone I know to do the same!

Ordered 2 turkey tips orders and the meat was horrible. Hard old not even chewable the fries tasted so hard and old with sauce on it. I called to let them know and they offered to only replace the meal no refund or other menu items. I definitely won’t be eating here again! Not worth the money at all. I wouldn’t even buy a pop from this place.

I really enjoy Pit Stop Barbecue in Chicago Heights. The food is consistently tasty—the sauce is especially delicious, and the meats are flavorful and well-cooked. The menu has great options, and the overall quality is solid.

I love the bbq Here I’ve been several times and each time it’s hit the spot. Customer Service is quick And nice I’ve never had an issue. My order is always right max I’ve had to wait is 20 minutes but so worth it. I’ll definitely be back. We always get the rib tip hotlink Dinner plate and then an order of seven wing dinner
