Yes, I’m giving this Waffle House five stars. I have certain expectations when I visit a Waffle House, and I got exactly what I expected out of this visit.
Ambiance was friendly, cozy, bright from the giant windows, and the smell of all the good food and coffee lingered in the air in a conglomeration of smells that I wish could be a candle.
Service is always excellent. You either get a career waitress or a young kid who goes to the local community college. Both types of folks provide pleasant conversation.
Food was banging, as always. I got a triple, all the way, minus gravy, because that’s gross. But everything else is amazing. The salty ham, the spicy jalapenos, the gooey cheese, the umami bite from the mushrooms. There’s just nothing better.
I’ve been going to this Waffle House for decades now, and I ain’t stopping anytime soon.

Say what you want but Waffle House is a full-blown experience every time.
My pops just had his knee replacement and I needed to get him out for a little walking therapy so he suggested Waffle House which is his favorite haunt.
We’ve been in Chicago almost 10 years now remove from the south and let me tell you they’re not many things I miss other than sunshine and Waffle House.

This is our favorite Waffle House. Living in East Milton, you do not have a lot of choices, and fighting the traffic to get into Milton at dinner time is not pleasant. We frequent this Waffle House and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant clean, and they always work at a quick pace. If there is a wait, you are not usually waiting for long. We also order to go from time to time, and the order is always right, utensils in the bag, and all the condiments plus some. Only downside is how cold it is in there, but we have come to remember to grab a jacket before heading over! We love this Waffle House.

I feel so bad I don’t remember our servers name! We came on 02/16/2024 at around 2pm and our server was a brunette wearing a mask. She was absolutely amazing!!! I came in with my almost two year old, and she (along with all the staff) made us feel so welcome and appreciated. She went above and beyond and cut my child’s waffle up for us so that she could eat it right away, and I didn’t have to do it. That right there is amazing service!!!!! and she gave us the paper hats which my kiddo loved!!!!

And might I add the place was packed this waffle House has it going on! When we arrived we were famished and the fact that we were serve so quickly earned a five-star. You can tell by the amount that my husband ordered that he was near starved.. or so you would think. From time to time we’ve gone to a waffle House and they’re only half full and you wait 15 minutes for more for your food understanding that it’s cooked hot and fresh so you expect some time but you usually don’t get it in under 10 minutes.!

Food was ok just not very warm. Could be because restaurant is kept at sub zero temps. Waitress was nice and engaging.
