Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time—full stop. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich, house salad, and a lavender lemonade, and not a single flavor missed. Everything worked together without clashing, which is rare and impressive.
The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, and clearly high quality. The fries? Golden, crisp, and dialed in—not greasy, not dry, just right. The salad was fresh and balanced, and the lavender lemonade was refreshing without being overpowering.
Service matched the food: attentive without hovering. They somehow showed up exactly when needed and were genuinely accommodating the whole time.
Food, service, timing, execution—all on point. I’ll be back, no question.

26 Beach is a really fun and an eclectic place to have a nice meal, you could almost call it Bohemian, but the food quality is very good so that alone makes it worth a visit. I have been for dinner a few times, but stopped in for my first time for brunch this past weekend and had a great meal. We were a party of two arriving around 10 AM on Saturday. We did not have to wait at all to be seated and service the entire meal was very fast. There is a free parking lot directly behind the restaurant, the entrance is a very narrow alley directly to the right of the front door of the restaurant. Just go down that and behind the restaurant you will see at least 6-8 spaces.
We started off our meal with a couple of iced lattes and thought they were very good. We ordered with French vanilla and it was honestly really nice. For my breakfast I chose the Baja Benedict and really enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion, so I was certainly not hungry at all after finishing it. Others at our table or the French Toast and they were hit as well. I would definitely recommend this place and being that I live very close by I will be back again in the near future.

I came here with my coworkers for dinner and it was such a great experience. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans along with a lychee martini. Everything was absolutely fantastic. We shared cheesy toasted bread and Brussels sprouts as appetizers and they were just as delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the ambience was beautiful. The decor felt like something out of a movie, very enchanting and thoughtfully done. I would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.

This place is beyond cute and our food was super delish! I had the jerk chicken breakfast bowl and it was the perfect level of spicy and the sauce was sooooo good! My friend had the tuna salad sandwich. We both left very full and satisfied. The decor is so cute!

2.5☆. Came here to get a great experience but was disappointed with this restaurant. The service was weak ¬ much attentive. The host took 40mins to seat us when there was NO wait! The server took long to take our order. The food was bland for the most part, I got salmon dish & to be labeled as a high restaurant the plating didn’t look as so. The green beans weren’t even seasoned &half cooked. Mashed potatoes were basic, salmon didn’t have character tho taste wasn’t bad, I could’ve made tastier fish at home. But I wanted an elevated fish which I didn’t get. The bolognese noodles were too salty &was basically basic spaghetti. The only good thing that didn’t disappoint was the smores French toast which I was glad bc its the main reason we came here for! I won’t be dinning back. I’ll stick to C&O down &is way better!

Incredible breakfast with super friendly staff! Elizabeth was our server and she was very kind with the loveliest smile. We found this place on a whim while driving on the rainy day and it was exactly what we needed. We ordered the 3 egg plate w chicken Italian sausage and potatoes, rajun cajun pasta, and the very berry French toast (fruits were so fresh!), and everything was delicious. Sad to find out that this place will be closing shop after the end of the year. It was a very cute inside too, i should’ve taken some pics of the interior.. Anyway, i hope you guys go try the food (especially their extensive French toast menu) before the year ends!

Stopped in for happy hour on the recommendation of the hotel owner down the street. Enjoyed immensely. Nice HH snacks and a lovely raspberry cheesecake to finish.

Went for Sunday brunch. What a gem! Food was fantastic, hats off to the owner/chef!! A wonderful mix of flavors!!! Menu had many options. Cozy joint but very open and airy and maximalist according to my wife, the designer. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Parking not so favorable. But overall, we will go back and would like to visit for lunch/dinner also.

26 Beach Restaurant in Venice is a true hidden gem that offers a delightful and unique dining experience. This iconic eatery has been a local favorite for over 40 years, and it’s easy to see why. From its eclectic retro decor to its fantastic and creative menu, it’s a place that captures the fun and laid-back spirit of Venice.
One of the most striking things about 26 Beach is its vibrant and charming atmosphere. The decor is wonderfully unique and colorful, creating a beachy vibe that makes you feel like you’re on a tropical getaway. The heated back patio with a retractable roof is a fantastic feature, allowing you to enjoy the California sunshine or stay cozy on a cooler day. It’s a great spot for a casual meal with friends or a romantic date night.
The menu is a fantastic fusion of different cuisines, with a creative flair that sets it apart. While they serve everything from classic American burgers and sandwiches to filet mignon, they are particularly known for their inventive “burger rolls,” which blend a hamburger patty with sushi elements. The Chef Katsu’s Original California Roll Hamburger, with crab, avocado, and wasabi mayo, is a must-try for an adventurous palate. The brunch menu is also a big hit, with popular dishes like the Peach Melba French Toast made with croissant and the Big Daddy’s Blue Plate which features chicken wings and French toast. Other standout dishes include the Orange Rosemary Salmon and the flavorful K.C. Baby Back Ribs.
And for those who appreciate good food with a little less hassle, 26 Beach has a convenient solution to the Venice parking struggle. They have their own parking lot in the rear of the restaurant. You just need to look for a narrow alley on the side of the building, and it leads you right to a stress-free parking spot. This thoughtful detail makes a visit here even more enjoyable.
Overall, 26 Beach is a fantastic choice for any meal. Its lively ambiance, diverse menu, and convenient parking make it a standout destination. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this restaurant offers a memorable experience with its unique style and delicious food.

Went here on a weekend whim. Got cranberry and oj mimosas. My dish was the Go Bananas and it’s pretty sweet. It was delicious but you definitely need something to cut the sweet. Also the bananas retain their heat for a long time so be careful not to burn the hell out of your mouth like me. Ultimately I would not recommend unless you are in the mood for a lot of sugar. Wifey got croissant French toast with orange cream sauce. It was good, but again, it’s very sweet. Overall the place is nice and they probably have a great dinner menu. -1 point for atmosphere because it was pretty hot inside even next to a window. I highly recommend the patio for a more pleasant dining experience.
