It all started when we purchased a failing restaurant in the historic downtown district of Round Rock. We renovated the place from top to bottom, adding two outdoor patios with plenty of space for great friends and family to enjoy quality home cooking together. Whether you’ve stopped in for brunch, lunch, or dinner, you’ll recognize our attention to neighborly customer service from the moment we wave you in. Grab a spot at one of our comfy community tables, order a carefully crafted cocktail, and a round of fried pickles, and get to know a fellow regular. We have 15 TVs, yard games and dog-friendly patios. Once you’ve discovered Finley’s homey environment and unbeatable comfort food, no other bar or restaurant will do.
Pizza, steak & pub grub inside a bright, rustic-chic bar & grill or on a dog-friendly patio.

However the staff is friendly, the beer selection is decent and the outdoor patio is nice.
Couple happy hour drinks, 3 mains, 1 shareable and 2 kids put us at 140ish.
The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. I even liked the music they were playing. When I looked at the menu, the first thing that I noticed is that their drinks were all alcoholic. This isn’t that crazy, though, because this place is primarily a bar. I ordered off-menu and got some orange juice, though.
I found the brisket hash to be a little bland and light on brisket. Other than that, it was ok. My big problem was with the avocado [PASTE]. First of all, themenu says “avocado” not “avocado paste” or even “guacamole.” This would have been fine, though, except that it tasted like it came out of a tin can that had been sitting in the freezer for a while and they just thawed it in the microwave. The tomato paste they use at that very large sub sandwich chain we all know is better than this paste was.
Finley’s might be a good bar in the evening and maybe one day I’ll find out and edit my review, but I’m highly unlikely to return for brunch or even dinner.
