It’s been years since I’ve had Danver’s. I didn’t know there was a Danver’s still open until my husband started talking about missing having a Danver’s around and then saying Google Danver’s and just see if they’re still around. I couldn’t believe it popped up one in Cordova. He said call the number see if they’re really there. I did and when the sweet lady answered saying Danver’s how can I help you she laughed when I said this is really Danver’s we’re on our way she said ok we’ll see you soon. The burger was just as amazing as I remember from years ago. The owner was outside cleaning the parking lot with a shovel trying to get the snow and ice moved. It was awesome when he came in to warm up and started singing the song that was playing. It was great to sit and eat listening to oldies music. Of course it’s not as cheap as it used to be but what is these days. But I’ll tell you this it was worth every penny spent. I’d say it might have been $2 more for a burger than what McDonald’s is charging but it’s 1000% better than McDonald’s could ever be. I highly recommend going there.

I love the salad bar. It’s always fresh and well maintained. My sister loves their catfish! It’s not cheap but still a good value, especially if you have room for 2 salad bar trips!

This was our first time here and it was a great surprise. We didn’t know what to expect, but the food is good, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. There is a large salad bar in the middle of the room that looked very tasty. I will definitely be back for that another day.
I ordered the 3 egg omelet with all the fixings, which cost extra, but not much and well worth it. It came with a biscuit, and I don’t eat bread much anymore, but this was worth it. It was so buttery and flakey. It also came with grits which my BF said were good.
BF got the 2 biscuits with gravy and a side of bacon and said it was very good. We were both very happy with our meals and will be back for lunch and/or dinner. I highly recommend this place.

Staff was nice, food was terrible! Biscuits & gravy, biscuit was fine, but the gravy was atrocious. It was thick & tastes only like flour. I scraped it off & just ate the biscuit. Bacon was very thin, basically translucent & home fries were just, frozen & poured out of a bag. Coffee was good. 1st time visiting, I had been curious about it after other visits to town, now that I have, no need to do so ever again.

Wow last review 3 years ago. Not gonna lie in 3 years service and quality dipped BUT happy to say it seems the staff has changed. The salad bar is once again clean and fresh. The new burgers taste great. Give them a shot
2/13/25 Dear diary another great visit to Danvers tonight. Great burger and potato. Sadly they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookies BUT they were nice enough to make us some fresh ones while we ate.

Secrets In The Dark
I got 2 of the 20oz porterhouses tonight. One of them was Perfect, the other, not so much. Also, they weren’t thick steaks, they were sadly on the thin side. I was also disappointed that a salad wasn’t offered with the meal considering the price. Over $30 dollars for a thin steak and a baked potato with a slice of sandwich bread toasted; salad $5 extra.
Update: We decided to wait to reorder so they could get new product in. We will be ordering 2 more tonight. I’m excited to update! Wish me luck!!!
With that said, I’ll be giving it one more try this Thursday. Same order as tonight, although I may add the salad just to give it a try.

Great food and wonderful service! I mistakenly left my purse at the restaurant, and it was returned to me exactly as I left it, with my money still inside. I’m so grateful for the honest and caring staff. I will definitely be back

I love to come here for breakfast but lately the food hasn’t been very consistent. Sometimes I go and the food is amazing. Other times the food is awful. Biscuits are hard, home fries are gross, and eggs are runny. I guess it’s just luck of the draw. But I hate wasting my money.

Tv was jacked up couldn’t see the game. I got a catfish basket and 3 hushpuppies. I got little catfish filets and supposed to have 3 hushpuppies but they only gave us 2. Salad bar seemed to be past the point of anyone eating. The salami turned white, I knew it was crawling with 48 hour food bug! The salad bar has looked good in the past but this past Friday it was atrocious. I know Danver’s has had a stellar past but it was greatly lacking in cleanliness and disappointed with it and the they brought the food to your table holding it in their hands! Don’t yall have trays? Didn’t care for it!!
