Had just ordered samosa chana chat and the chana seems so off. It tastes like they have been using the old chana the samosa is okay tho.
It’s a request if customers are ordering and paying for something at least don’t use old stuff. We are not fools who won’t get to know!!!

We held our mountain celebration event to mark the completion of 282 Munros at Village Curry House, and it was an excellent choice. The venue is wonderful, with extremely friendly staff and a very accommodating owner. Although tea was not served, this was due to our own oversight, as we did not request it.
For events of up to 120 people, this venue is ideal. The hall is well suited for gatherings, and the food was outstanding—truly delicious. I would highly recommend Village Curry House for hosting events and celebrations.

I quite like Village. Ambience is great. Service was great. But have to admit I was surprised at how expensive the place has got compared to similar food places. Was very surprised that just a margarita pizza costs £18 now. Not worth the price anymore sadly for me.

We traveled 74 miles to this amazing place to eat. The food is delicious and the waitress was a lovely warm friendly person. It’s my favourite treat to visit .

Be much better restaurant which we would normally go to once in a month. Now the portions of the meals got so small, hardly few pieces of chicken in curries, 5 small pieces of chicken in adult size chicken shish. Very disappointing. Also chicken birani had 4 pieces of chicken.

I remember this place opening and the kind owner with the moustache. Service has changed, very slow to be seated and for order to be taken. Pakora was excellent as was the dipping sauce. Portion of rice quite small. Nan bread was plentiful although a little greasy. Curry (Garam Masala) was nice to taste, although a bit oily and amount of chicken tikka wasn’t very impressive. Bottles of coke £3.50 each I felt was expensive.

Got the chicken tikka takeaway lunch, my stomach has been upset and hurting for the past 7 hours.. avoid if you value your body!!

Curry portion was stingy on the meat, the sauce however was decent. Just wish it hadn’t caused me discomfort.

I’ve been a regular on and off here since the place first opened. In the early days it would be normal for me to visit twice a week. Most Fridays when there was an upstairs and Sundays down stairs with the mates. When my daughter came along, mostly takeaways. Recommended this place so much over the years and took various colleagues, family and friends.
In recent years I’ve went in the odd Sunday with my partner and we always get the same order. Our wee munch without the kids.

Out last visit was March 30th. Because it was Eid there was a buffet on. Our waitress (that we’ve had a lot are always thankfully and always tip) told us “Its a buffet because its Eid and Mothers day. But Eid is more important. Im not a starter guy, plus the starter section was needing replenished. The waitress said she would bring us a starter plater with fresh food as the starter section was bare ( We didn’t want it and she didn’t tell us 1 how big it was and 2 it was an extra charge) My wee Mrs didn’t go near the mains as she felt guilty about the huge starter plater on our table.

We just wanted to go home. We left our usual good tip. Even though the waitress took pleasure in mugging us off. I do get white Glasweigans can be racists. We know where we are not welcome and who knows if she’s being spiteful and twisted with the food too.
Food, means I won’t go back.
