Lamb karahi was delicious – I don’t normally get lamb (as I worry it’ll be tough) but the waiter recommended it and I’m so glad I did! So tender and delicious.

The tiger roars as you walk inside this restaurant! Nice atmosphere and nice people. But what about the food? The biryani we ordered didn’t taste like anything. The accompanying curry sauce was better though.

We really liked the decor of this restaurant although the ambient temperature needed to be increased as it was cold when we arrived. Possibly because at 4pm we were the first diners to patronise the restaurant after opening. Ambient temperature of the restaurant improved later so we assume the heating had not been turned on until opening at 4pm which was missing a trick as no one wants to eat in a cold restaurant. Turning the heating on slightly earlier would help enormously. Food was really nice. We recommend the lamb shank as the meat was tender and the sauce was delicious. Kadai paneer was also delicious. Unfortunately the barman wasn’t in attendance when we tried to order cocktails after spending some time choosing what we wanted so we had to choose our drinks again. Then we were told the barman had turned up (after being told he would not be there until around 6pm) so perhaps someone called him. We were able to order our cocktails after all, which were nice. Unfortunately there were some niggles with dessert as the jalebi ice cream sandwich is not a sandwich at all. It is one jalebi on top of a scoop of ice cream which couldn’t be described as an ice cream sandwich as the definition of a sandwich is something sandwiched between two things which was misleading on the dessert menu. When we queried this with the server he was unfortunately quite stubborn about it insisting it is a sandwich and failing to appreciate the logic of what we were saying about the item being described incorrectly being misleading as you don’t know what you are ordering and in this case we would not have ordered this item had we known how it was presented as we were splitting dessert between us so would have gone for something more substantial. In the end the server agreed to amend the dessert with another jalebi to make it into an *actual* sandwich. We didn’t enjoy having to insist and the resulting atmosphere was not very pleasant which affected our enjoyment of the experience. Rectifying an issue during service is where the best servers excel as they have the opportunity to make their customers happy and as we all know you don’t remember what someone did for you, you remember how they made you feel. I suggest the restaurant change the wording of this item on the dessert menu to say “open jalebi ice cream sandwich” as this would adequately prepare you for what you will receive. We asked for the 10% discretionary service charge to be removed from our bill. We would recommend this restaurant with a necessary tweak to the dessert menu and more focus on providing excellent customer service as that is what makes an establishment stand out from the rest. Recommended but also room for improvement.

Nice looking place and had a decent buzz when we visited on a Friday night.
We had a mixture of pork chops, sea bass and tikka chicken and all of us felt that the spice flavours well and truely overtook the meats. I we shut our eyes, we almost couldnt tell what meat we were eating, which was disappointing for the price.
The service was ok but the male waiters seemed very pushy and not warm in the slightest.
Wasn’t the worst experience by a long shot, but wouldn’t choose there again.

Came here today with a group for a 40tj birthday. The service was brilliant and out water was very attentive, I asked for a surprised cocktail and it was not as I expected in taste. But the waiter kindly changed it and second time.round was much nicer.
The food was okay as average, needed some flavour to it. We ordered a lot and majority did go to waste unfortunately.

We had lunch there and ordered two starters to share and a main course for each person. The tandoori came sizzling and piping hot, not to mention the generous portions! The staff were very friendly and offered us hot drinks at the end of the meal as it was very cold outside. Lovely and peaceful ambience – perfect for meeting up with friends and family.

Came for what I thought would be a typical Christmas works do, but it was SO much better than that. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great and Shahin and the rest of the staff looked after us so well. He was so fun, giving our friend a surprise birthday cake and song, and clearing up with Olympic speed and precision when a pint of beer was spilt everywhere. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Such a great night.
