Black Stallion Steakhouse was amazing! The service was outstanding, and even with a large party of 13 we had a table ready with no wait. I ordered the Southwest Chicken, and it was excellent — perfectly grilled, flavorful, and topped generously with onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese sauce. The portions were great, the prices were fair, and everything was worth every penny. We’ll definitely be back!

Everyone enjoyed their food. Those sauteed onions and mushrooms were . The ribs had that tenderness and the burger was good as well. I didnt eat too much myself but when I am back in the area I will have to try their steak and update my review. Overall we enjoyed.

The first time we came here we came away and thought it was good. The salad bar is on point last time and we both had steaks. The fillet was really good, but the ribeye was just full of gristle. This time when we went back, we decided to both have chicken. My vote would be just stay away from all the chickens! You would think Southwest chicken would have some flavor to it, but it was overcooked dry, rubbery chicken with no flavor, cheese sauce, and onions, mushrooms, and peppers with not even salt and pepper on them. My husband’s Parmesan chicken I don’t even know where to start with that monstrosity. Let’s just give you a picture… again the overcooked chicken breast that was grilled and then they put this thick coating of Parmesan breadcrumbs across the top that I don’t think was even browned or any kind of specialness and then the piece resistance they covered it in cheddar cheese. It was just not right. And then you got your host of Sysco sides. I do have to wonder how many microwaves are back there in the kitchen. We have had our fill and will not be back again.

I ordered the El Paso Cheese Ribeye. Really great. Potato was really good. Corn on the Cob and little over cooked but had a nice flavor. My wife had the Ribeye. Nicer cut. Grilled well, nice flavor. Our bill came to $64 with drinks. Wait staff was very attentive, restrooms were freshly cleaned.

We ate here after going to my sister-in-law’s graduation, and apparently many other people had the same idea because it was packed. Our waiter took our drink and appetizer orders in a timely manner once we were seated. They also brought yeast rolls, which were tasty.
My wife got the house salad with ranch as her side, but didn’t like the ranch dressing and her sister wasn’t a fan of the croutons. Calamari was another appetizer, but it was chewy and dry and the dipping sauce was bland and not your traditional marinara.
It took almost an hour for our food to come out. Granted, it was busy, but IMO any well ran restaurant should be able to handle a rush and get food out within a half an hour. Maybe they were short-staffed and it isn’t normally like that?
I ordered the Chicken Bacon Cheese Nachos, a house specialty, and instead of putting the nachos in a ring around the ingredients, multiple tortilla chips were at the bottom, soaked with grease and cheese sauce, and were soggy. The chicken tasted like the only seasoning was from the grill marks (no salt, etc.), was dry, and although the ingredients were fresh the whole dish was missing something (perhaps salsa?). My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) but the seasoning was bland, and her shrimp was dry.
All in all, I ate my whole plate because it wasn’t horrible and on principle I always finish my plate, but I personally wouldn’t go there again.

Not very good at all. My husband ordered a steak and baked potato. The steak was ordered medium well he got medium rare … it was chewy and tasted awful. It was almost raw. The potato tasted like dirt. I ordered a taco salad it wasn’t very good either… you just expect more when you go to such a nice steak house. The service was good , the people are nice, but something needs to happen in that kitchen.

Wonderful environment & staff. Strip steak was amazing. Recommend the Caesar dressing, it is not on the salad bar but can ask your server. Salad bar well stocked.

When I first walked into the restaurant it seemed like a very nice steak house, service was “OK” but the food? AWFUL.
My steak (New York Strip cooked medium rare) had so much fat I couldn’t even chew it. My Mac and cheese was so runny I could drink it, my loaded sweet potato came out as a liquid…. Sweet tea was good though.

First time here. LOVED the huge glasses of sweet tea! Our appetizer chips seemed almost stale. Pork chops were more of a thin slice breakfast cut, BUT tasty. Mac N cheese seemed like from a box. Rice had zero seasoning. Husband had steak tips he said tasted like packaged fajita seasoning. Overall it is a
CLEAN and inviting place with excellent service.

This isn’t a nice steak house. By the looks of it we thought it might be nice. My husband took me for our anniversary. We won’t be coming back next year. It smelled like fabuloso in there…. the atmosphere feels more similar to a modern mexican restaurant than a steakhouse in the south. The menu had like 100 options on it… which makes you wonder how fresh it could all be. and the food just wasn’t good. Ordered a medium rare ribeye, nothing special about it. It just wasn’t steakhouse quality. We’ll be making the drive to etown next year.
