Stopped in here for dinner today after wanting to try for some time! We sat at the bar but there were still some tables open around 5:30pm. We started with the beans and greens, which were tasty and nice and garlicky. However, I personally prefer escarole over the spinach that was used. For entrees, we got the chicken Alfredo and the stuffed banana pepper ravioli. Portions are enormous! Both entrees were good, but I misunderstood and thought the stuffed banana pepper ingredients were inside the raviolis. It’s actually cheese ravioli with everything on top.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for many reasons. Excellent food! Traditional Italian dishes as well as other choices. They offer vegan and gluten free choices. Excellent cocktails and appetizers! I love the lasagna and the lobster ravioli! Great staff!

My husband and I had our New Year’s Eve lunch at Roman Bistro in Forest Hills today. It was absolutely wonderful. Our server Greg was a delight. The food reminded me of grandma‘s house. The restaurant was all decked out in Holiday cheer and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. An upscale place with a down home feel. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough.

I come here every time my family comes to Pitt and it slaps EVERY TIME. The pasta is absolutely excellent. I lived in Italy for 3 years and Roman bistro is top tier. My fave is their butternut squash ravioli which genuinely tastes like Fall in a bite. It is so flavorful. Yesterday we also tried their eggplant Parmesan which came with spaghetti. It sounds basic but it was made so well and paired with a delightfully spicy red sauce. Their grilled vegetable salad is a staple when we come here as well.

Phenomenal Italian restaurant experience at the Roman Bistro. They have a nice selection on the menu. The side Caesar salad with anchovies was great and the lobster ravioli was the perfect blend of richness without being overpowering. The service was perfect with my waitress checking on me at the right times. I would highly recommend this place if you want an upscale dining experience.

OMG! Delicious food and plenty of it. Someone’s Nonna is in the kitchen slaving away. Had the lasagna, ravioli, cannoli and more. So good! We will be back!!!

Salads are delicious. Will be back for the crab cake and prime rib. Generous portions and nice plating are served. Service was not awesome the evening we were there but I hear that’s uncommon. Cocktail menu is diverse and features seasonal beverages. Large bar area with severely seating sections to cater any occasion. Ample parking.

We repeatedly go here for family gatherings because it’s AMAZING!!! We have younger kids and it’s never an issue because we have a nice area away from the regular patrons. It’s very smart of them to seat us this way. That being said there are young children in our party do not cause nuisance to other patrons or disrupting anyone, theyre well behaved it’s just that we’re walking them around and keeping them busy.
