Happy Joe’s was always my favorite place. But in this general area I have yet to have a good pizza. Wait time was fine, greetings took a bit but was taken care of. We ordered a 1/2 blt 1/2 nacho Joe looked fine when checked but got home unfortunately wasn’t cut fully had to cut ourselves no big deal. But the bad parts were the pizza is undercooked. Dough was chewy and you can see the uncooked dough and pizza sauce was on both sides.. we ordered what we did cuz not a huge fan of red sauce.
I get it was a Saturday but man if youre paying 30+ for 1 pizza atleast get most of it right.

Ordered 2 pizzas, 4 cookies, and a 2 liter at 430pm and it was supposed to be delivered by 520pm.
Food shows up 545pm.
The Gluten free chicken taco pizza was burnt to a crisp and missing the whole “Taco” portion of the pizza.
The Large double pepperoni with Extra Cheese was NOT cut at all and loaded with so much sauce nothing would stay on the pizza once we cut it.
Ordered 1 Carnival cookie, 1 Sugar Butter cookie, and 2 Chocolate chip cookies.
Received 2 Sugar cookies and 2 Macadamia nut cookies.
Considering it was $70 for the order (including tip) This was unacceptable. So I called the store at 550pm, the manager (forgot her name) was very nice, said she will remake my order correctly and have it expedited out.
705pm the driver shows up with 2 new pizzas.
The Chicken Taco Pizza actually looked correct and was way better than the 1st pizza received.

Staff was amazing. Jeromy, Kynzee, and Maddie were all people I worked with. They made sure my daughter’s birthday was an experience she won’t forget. Everything was clean, and pizza was the Happy Joes pizza we love! I’ll be recommending this location for birthday party’s and pizza to everybody. I can’t express how much I appreciate these three and the happy joes team. 12/10 experience.

Pizza was excellent. We ordered fresh from the kitchen and it was very good. Our friends did the buffet and a lot of the pizza had been out there for a while and was very crunchy, but they swapped it all out for fresh pizza shortly after and it was good for them too.
The kids loved the arcade games and climbing area. Could have been cleaner, but it was maintained pretty well overall.
There were a lot of flies buzzing around too.

I picked here for my daughter’s birthday and I gotta say I won’t be doing it again or suggesting anyone else to. We bought a party package and rented a room. For the party your to have a host. Everything we needed we had to hunt someone down, ordering the food, drinks, arm bands, playing cards, and even plates long after the food came. Even had to ask for a garbage bags and when they brought one they girl handed it my husband to put in bin. We were over/changed for things we got that was supposed to be included in the party plan. The young women working were all moody and irritated when they spoke to us. My mother in law spoke to someone in management towards the end of the party and we finally ended up seeing workers actually come to the room. None of them remotely decent. Save your money and go somewhere better.

No service . The staff was not helpful at all. We had 11 people we tried the buffet always had to wait for food. Visit other Happy Joe’s everything was good but this location was a big disappointment. Spit about $200 and got about maybe $20 worth of food while we were there never will go back . Founder happy Joe Whitney would not happy with the staff. I’ll stop now with the negativity

I hesitated to review after one horrible experience, but now we’re at two.
First visit, was a random day we went for the heck of it for lunch and the place was dead. I mean dead. Only one other occupied table downstairs. We placed our order for food, and waited while we played in the tubes. Only one other family playing in the tubes with us. We waited. And waited some more. 45 minutes later. We got the food at the table and there wasn’t a hint of touching an oven. It wasn’t frozen, but it wasn’t warm. Ok I thought, one bad experience, no biggie. My wife literally vomited it up when we got home, which caught me off guard.
A return visit today for a birthday party, allergy pizza was ordered, never came. Wait staff pestered. Wrong pizza came out. A grand 1.5 hours from original order placed to receiving the correct GF cheese pizza.
My advice, don’t come for food. The play area is fine, nitpick on the raised ceiling tiles falling and a bit dilapidated. Few outlets have safety plugs with their other halves without, odd things that should be shored up.

Omg it’s been over 2 decades since I had service this bad! We ordered an appetizer of garlic bread, sodas, 2 pizzas for dine-in and 1 pizza to go. The server messed up EVERYTHING it seemed. She brought out the to-go pizza FIRST . She was asked about the appetizer and responded ‘oh yeah’ and comes back out with 1 of the dine-in pizzas instead . We asked her AGAIN about the garlic bread and this time she brought it out but without the sauce . We told her that she forgot the sauce and she’s like ‘Oh ok’ and disappears back to the kitchen. Then she came back out with…the other dine-in pizza (seriously???). AGAIN we asked her about the sauce. ‘Yeah, I’ll be back’ was her response (you’ve GOT to be kidding me). She couldn’t handle even carrying a tiny cup of the garlic bread sauce with the pizza after forgetting to bring it out with the garlic bread in the first place! She then had to make a 3RD trip back to the kitchen just to carry this tiny cup of sauce out to us . Last time I checked, the appetizer is served 1ST, hence that’s why it’s called an APPETIZER. The dine-in pizzas are supposed to be served 2ND. The to-go pizza is supposed to be served 3RD…IF there’s no dessert order. Where in the hell did this this woman learn how to serve food??? I used to be server so I know what I’m talking about. The service we received is completely unacceptable! No wonder the place there wasn’t a single customer besides us. After loving Dubuque’s Happy Joe’s, this Davenport Happy Joe’s service was just down right embarrassing to the name Happy Joe’s .

Food is good, sometimes buffet is old food sitting for long time, 2 visits ago they only made 2 small pizzas for like 20-30 guests, I walked out hungry still after 1 piece of pizza after 45 minutes. Few other people were upset as well walked out complaining been there over hour and only 2 small pizzas came out

A lot of people complain about how many teenagers work here but honestly! I applaud them so hard because they were very patient, kind, and hardworking.! Working birthday parties for little kids is definitely not an easy thing to do but they held it all together. I would definitely recommend.
